That is a valid point. It was visually very beautiful but the actual battle set up was quite similar though with souped up AT-ATs.

I wish I knew what I was missing in that first picture!

I don't have a problem with movies being sad or emotional it's just a real bummer to see our heroes like this. The entire movie is like that scene in Superman III where Superman has stubble and is an alcoholic.

Good point. Yes, I found this movie to be well made and visually stimulating but some of the stuff in it was a little in the boring side. Honestly, with how much action is crammed into movies these days (prequels included) it's nice to see movies that are at least a little boring.

And I guess I touch on it in my The Last Jedi review but I think The Force Awakens had problems but overall I just felt that it was the first Star Wars movie in a long time that was actually any fun. It was nice to have well done dialogue, humor, and interesting characters even if there were some a lot of things about the plot that were a little annoying.

A good analysis overall. I think we may disagree about Poe though. Just released part 5 of my review and realized I should post here if anyone ever still checks it out.

Hey, this is my first post in like five years!
