Barend could be onto something here though. I have done this myself once, saying something particularly below the belt to Rory once. I decided that was taking it way too far and removed it - immediately after posting it. However, when I submitted the edited post, Rory already had a reply with the offensive remark in quotes - and he was understandably pretty angry with me. Sorry about that, Rory.

And it goes as a warning to everyone - be careful what you type. Maybe you can remove it before someone else sees it.... but it could end up being out there forever, with you being unable to recall it.
