Given that it is not linked in the archives of Fully Ramblomatic (indeed, it pre-dates it by about a year) I assume that quite a few readers (especially those that did not come via Lance & Eskimo) will not have seen Yahtzee's Flash animation of Rob and Paul.
(For those late on the take up, see YtoW or the Rob Blanc trilogy)

Also in the 'Lost gems of Yahtzee' range (avalible on Long Player or Video Disc)

British Road Signs Sing Gloria Gaynor

A rather old mainpage (but still with an active newsfeed)

and much. much more...

(Actually, that's a lie - this is about all I can find Yahtzee [Being work created by Mr Croshaw under his pseudonym, rather than 1: under normal name, or 2: about the family game] related that isn't linked directly from FR.com [well, apart from the 2 RoN games]- can anyone find anything else?)

I seem to remember YTOTW orrigionally took the form of a diary added onto the end of articles on amature adventure games, if that counts.

God, don't remind me. Seems like everything I make I look back on about a year later and cringe. Eye on Amateur Adventure is something I'm still trying to forget.

I loved the flash one though. I remember when you first made it I didn't belive that you'd voiced it for some reason.

I'm the same way. About my stuff, I mean.

At any rate, the Rob & Paul bit was mildly enjoyable. I really only laughed at the popcorn sequence, but it was still worth my time overall.

Last time I watched that animation, I didn't know who Bruce Campbell was. And I had never heard of Evil Dead.

Now the amusement has just skyrocketed.

Same here. I had seen Army of Darkness, but that was on TV when I was eleven or twelve or something, so I didn't really remember a lot of it.

Now I know better, and it's all thanks to Yahtzee and his fanboy-ism. laugh.gif Hooray!

Oh but I do so miss Rob and Paul, though... sad.gif

We need to petition Yahtzee to bring them back for something...

(*hopeful look*)

Oh, come on, please? I mean they just kicked so much ass!

Can't we all just move on? He's doing things now that are far more entertaining than the majority of YTOTW was. Just my opinion, but still. Focus on the now, not the then.

I know, but that doesn't mean they don't kick ass. I guess in my own weird way, I'm just stuck in the past.

Don't get me wrong, I love Rob & Paul as characters, but they had their run. That's all. They had their very....very...long run.

I'm actually thinking of starting a new comic. Totally new, with new characters and everything. And I'm going to hand draw it, so I don't feel so ashamed of it. Might not start for a while yet, though. I want to finish the sequel to 5 Days a Stranger first - er, disregard that.
