Evening all,
I Have heard news of the PS3 exclusive title Heavy Rain which has been released just about everywhere (including Australia), luckily, as it has been released in Australia, it is perfectly legible for complete and utter destruction by Yahtzee. I am in severe hope of this happening as it is the game yahtzee will utterly despise with each individual cell in his body. (in theory) From what i have seen and heard, Heavy rain focuses on a key factor which yahtzee seems to despise more than anything in the known universe Quick Time Events.from what i have seen in the trailer is 1) they pop up everywhere and 2) the instructions for what button to press are practically invisible thus causing Yahtzee to get rather heated in his review, which would be Rather amusing. Another thing i have heard of in the game is choice routes which lead to the same, or similar conclusion, for example, i have seen a trailer in which a fat man with a scar across his nose, stops a robbery at a corner shop/liquor store and chooses 1 of 4 options of how to stop it, e.g. one option leads to talking the thief into leaving whereas another leads to the shopkeeper being dead. but in the scenarios, it loops back together with the main target being a box the shopkeeper had. 4 different choices all leading to a box. This sort of thing annoys me and if i remember correctly, it annoys Yahtzee too.
To summarize, i hope Yahtzee reviews this game in the near future as it would most likely prove to be one of his most amusing yet.

Actually the games really good, and since the only real interactivity there is in Heavy Rain is QTE he has very little to complain about (I think I remembered him once saying if QTE is used primarily through a game he sees no fault in it). Besides a few instances where my finger placement was shoddy for a couple instances, the QTE is handled perfectly, I recommend this game to anyone.

I feel like this is the forum equivalent of a Nigerian 419 email.
