Couldn't agree more about the general annoyance that those suddenly fleet of foot zombies give. Two good films mentioned, 28 days later more so than the Dawn of the Dead remake, but still, zombies should shamble awkwardly toward one in great hordes, not sprint up and leap at you like a common ghoul. The real strength of the zombie has always been that, on their own, they're easy to dispose of. But they tend to travel in hige, roving bands, seeking out pockets of life, and then crushing them. The properly large zombie horde will surround a stronghold and then wear it down, eroding it like water. Zombies feel no pain, and never get tired, they'll punch your door until it breaks off or their arms do. Trying to rush through a horde is always a mistake, too. The shambling corpses will simply drag you down and feast on your ripe, gooey brains. Dead weight takes a new meaning when trying to struggle out from under these brutes.

A couple small points, though. The Evil Zom Puppies are properly known as the virus "Solanum", taken from the ultimate source on the undead, the Zombie Survival Guide. The source of the virus in new infections is unknown, and it takes just under 1 day from time of initial infection to reanimation and, while fatal to all animals, it will only cause reanimation in humans, and will only affect live humans.

Frankenstein's Creature, in the original literature, was actually quite spry, not to mention articulate, no matter what Boris Carloff would have tou believe.

Not to mention the fact that he was the hero of the book. Frankenstein himself was a bit of a toss.
The Green Knight, SimeSublime the Puffinesque, liker of chips and hunter of gnomes.
JM's official press secretary, scientific advisor, diplomat and apparent antagonist?
