For crimes against the childhood memories of us all, should George Lucas be prevented from making any more prequels, sequels, trequels or films in anyway whatsoever related to Star Wars? My attitude is, surprisingly, leaning very heavily toward one particular response.

Still ... I am open to debate.

By the way ... my response is Yes! God Yes! And I'll happily enforce the court order if need be.

Anyway, Howard The Duck II is well overdue

... This hurts my brain. I'm moving this to the Star Wars forum where it still doesn't belong but will get the appropriate attention and loathing.

StarWars people, I apologize for this. If I could, I would post and not bump it.

I'm not voting, I don't really care what George will do at all. However as for Howard the Duck II. Here's a fact: From the sniplets of the Howard the Duck graphic novel anthology, what I've seen is that Howard is a cartoonish duck along the lines of Donal Duck than what we saw in the movie, and a lot of other characters are realistically drawn human and other such stuff.

In short, Howard the Duck should never have been a live action film, animation would have been a far better route to go to.

I don't think he should be allowed to make another one, but then again nobody else should either. I was watching ROTS on Spike TV the other day, and although I enjoyed the movie, I still can't believe how poorly it ties things up with Episode IV.

ugggh so conflicted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the desire to give him another chance is just too great

to fully vote yes but . . . on the other hand
the fact that he wants to make a live action movie of the Clone Wars Tv show

AND help Speilberg with Indy 5
I vote Yes

I'm actually hopeful for the 75 years + one day after GL's death when SW looses its copyright. Then anyone's free to redo his movies or story in any media form. I don't think I'll reach that day, and I imagine one of his heirs will actually license a re-make. Alas, I don't think I will make it to that fateful day.
