OK, I've sent them a second email, I hope it works this time. I'll wait for a week and see what happens then. If it isn't unblocked, then I might as well call it quits, since there seems to be little hope for getting it unblocked.

All we can do now is wait -- and hope for the best.

Edit: I just something even more ridicules regarding the censorship. I went to Insultmonger.com (a website decidacted to teaching people insults and swearing) is no longer censored in the UAE.

It amazes me just how these people get their ideas to block websites! They let a movie database like newgrounds.com open, and now even a insult database website... but they still let an innocent webpage like Chefelf's to be banned!!

I can't believe this.

Five full days and still no change. I'm beginning to think that it might not get unblocked at all.

And I've also noticed an even weirdier thing. I once found a page of 'a kid's view on star wars' which was essentially a bunch of childish scribblings and stick figures that were supposed to show the movies as a kid would see it.

That was one of the cutest things I've ever seen online, but... it's been blocked! For some reasons I think that George Lucas had something to do with it. There is no possible explanation as to why anyone would want to censor something as innocent as that!

Star Wars never made it that big over here. As I mentioned before, they even censored a kid's viewpoint on Star Wars. I've seen it before and it was the most innocent thing I've ever seen, why anyone would want to censor it is far beyond me.

But give them more time... who knows? Maybe my requests haven't been fully processed yet, I have absolutely no idea whatsoever how long these things take to complete.
