As good as that game is, it's sort of one of those things that you can clear in under an hour. Like Kirby's Dream Land.

At least I start threads that have something to do with recent articles. Unlike some of the...other...threads on here.

No. I'm serious. I have to search and forage to find interesting things to read and respond to. This whole forum is nothing but threads filled with clumsy flirting and some rubbish about pies. I mean, you people actually find this shit interesting? It's gotten to the point where my favourite posts here are the trolls and spammers. Some good things almost came out of the wizard thread or whichever one it was that had the literary discussion, but then Princess baulked. I make an effort because it's linked to my boyfriend's site and I like to stay involved, but Christ.

Some of us play to the dumb irrelevant angle. Evidently, you don't. OK then, tis your man's site after all, I'll try and keep my spam/flirting/pies to the relevant threads.

On the other hand, take the Mist approach. Rather than complain about a lack of (insightful/interesting/etc) threads, make one/some. Then we can see what you're after and play to it.

And besides, Cheffers has hoardes of boards for serious stuff. You just haven't visited the News Desk, it seems...

Baulked....BAULKED!

I let you win, because you'd have simply searched Google in order to find out more and more biographical details about Victorian writers and their works...Go on you know you did.

The crap stuff is a way of staying in touch, it's a laugh sometimes.

Lighten up dear Rhubarb, there's loads of deep and meaningful stuff to read.

Don't inhibit us on this forum and make us feel all young and silly.

Some of us are young and silly...not me and you of course.

Perhaps what this site needs is not a forum but a chatroom. Lord knows 90% of the posts are either four words long, or good candidates for the /me operator.

I'd create some interesting threads, but I'm a deeply uninteresting person. If you want to read a forum that really stretches the grey matter however I recommend http://www.spinnoff.com/bb - closely related to among others, Not My Desk, Shrove Tuesday (Observed) and Brunching.com et al.

I don't let myself anywhere near The Sims. One glance at it, and I lose a month of my life.
