Fanboys is a comedy about Starwars fans that somehow gained the involvement of both George Lucas AND William Shatner, despite the plot focusing on said fans breaking into Skywalker Ranch and also destroying a statue of Captain Kirk. It's a pretty well done road trip sort of movie with a twist, and definately one that any starwars fan can enjoy. Has anyone else seen this thing?

I saw it earlier this year at a local theater. People were dressed up in costumes (guy in wookiee costume with stilts, Clone soldier, snowtrooper with blue markings, generic Jedi, radio controlled full size R2D2).
Not bad! A silly, but enjoyable film. I feel sorry for the guy at the end though. I remembered hearing about this movie back in the day and thinking how lame it would be, but it was watchable, especially if you're a geek.
