First off The three films he was involved in that was highly praised all involed 2 people that were Lucas right hand men and women and were involved in every detail of the films.

Gary Kurtz and marcia lucas.The three films are american graffitti, star wars and the empire strikes back.

All three are hailed as great films. The best of all the empire strikes back Lucas had very little to do with. He did not write the screenplay and he did not direct it.

Soon as Gary lurtz and marcia Lucas are gone and Lucas gets a director that he pretty much tells what to do and how to direct with return of the jedi we start to see the down hill spiral. the kiddie ewoks and rehash of episode 4 with a new death star.

so enter other lucas related films..willow and howard the duck..CRAP!...Enter the prequels...which lucas writes and directs himself and we all know the results. Pure garbage. The worst dialouge in the history of film. Pathetic storylines that produces plot holes galore. He has a producer in rick mcallum that is nothing more than a YES MAN that kisses lucas azz.

Bottom line is soon as Lucas was alone and by himself and left without the talent and great mind of gary kurtz, marcia lucas and brilliant screenplay writting of lawerence kasdan...Lucas is shown exactly for what he is. A untalented, pathetic piece of shi* that used star wars as a tool to make money. He could care less if the movies were good or not. He just wanted to make the money. He went from taking advice from ppl like francis ford coppala, steven speilberg and others to taking advice from his kids. I mean he even casted the frigging backstreet boys for crying out load. On his kids advice im sure. He changed his mind cause of fan backlash.

He is a pathetic joke and I am so glad the world can now see this scumbag for what he truly is. A BIG NOBODY!I bet he feels inferior as hell when he is around his friends coppala and speilberg. People who actually have talant.
