Hey, I know its old but what does everyone else think of the game that spawned the All your base are belong to us craze? I've seen some of it and it looks like it might be an enjoyable game if the translation weren't hillarious. Speaking of AYB aside from the Laziest Men on Mars song about it (which has made them over 10000 dollars by the way) there's a much lesser known one which goes to the tune of Smells Like Teen Spirit. It is superb.

It's an okay game. Very typical, side-scrolling shoote fare. There are better titles in the genre, but the humour makes it a top tenner for me.

Also, here is an image mod that I made. The signs originally said something really stupid, and I believe he spelled "morons" as "morans", which is why the photo begged using. The lettering is all taken from the signs themselves.

I have more if anyone wants me to post 'em.

I lived about two blocks away from this abandoned hous with the AYB slogan grafittied on it, but it was torn down before I could take a picture.

keep the pics coming I love that stuff! Seriously you guys should download the nirvana ayb song if yoyu find it its surprisingly well performed and written. Me and my friend used to just perform it completely at random wherever we were. The coolest AYB thing I saw was when people looted a college rock garden and made the rocks spell All your base are belong to us.

And yes, a correct translation of the opening to Zero Wing has no business existing. Let us never speak of it again.

Zero Wing is the most boring, typical shooter ever made. They're lucky they got the worst translation in video game history or else it would have simply faded into obscurity.
