I'd just like to express my thankfulness for the ability to edit posts. I've used it countless times in the past. Nearly all of my posts, it seems, have the little "edited" comment at the bottom (especially in the old forum). I had a huge ramble I was going to post here, but I changed to this one instead. It was a pre-post edit so no "edited" line, but meh. It's still the editing. Isn't text-editing fabulous?

Edit: This is just to show how great it is. Yay. smile.gif

Hooray for the "edit" feature! I know of many a time where I've saved myself from looking like a complete idiot with spelling and grammar mistakes, saying too much, rambling off topic, and making comments that seemed really funny at the time of typing but actually turned out to be pretty retarded!

All hail the "edit" feature! Friend to all perfectionists and all those suffering from extreme paranoia and/or insecurity!

Wow...

Although I prefer preview over edit. I love preview.

I never use preview, which is probably why I edit so much.

I think I've used "preview" all of two times. I don't like it very much.

On another subject, I hate flood control. It stops me so often. sad.gif

Yes. I spam quite a bit, but it's lengthy spam. It's not your typical "OMFG OIC ORLY MP ASL IIRC 1337 R0X0RS" troll spam.

I have no idea what the hell you just said. Although, I think all things considered that's a good thing.

EDIT:
On a completely random note: Ahh! There's a mosquito in my room that just. Will. Not. Die!

I said that I hate flood control.

If you're referring to the troll-speak, I didn't really say anything coherent (but then, do they?). I just listed a bunch of troll-acronymish things, which aren't really acronyms, but meh.

It's sad, but when I say Huzzah, most people ask me what it means. Whats the world coming to?

And on another matter, I too hate flood control. I had to fight it to post this...post.

I hate flood control.

I dislike it as well. If I make a post, and then go to post in, say, the "Currently Hearing" thread in the music forum, I have to sit and wait for the time to pass before I can hit the post button, and it can be annoying. But since it keeps us from getting spammed quite as badly as boards without it, I suppose I grudgingly accept it.

Editing is great! For a dyslexic typist like myself it is wonderful to be able to look at a post where you have rapidly written sentences such as "...ofr such a long time I've been getting my letters backwards."

It's only a little thing, but it's the little things that make it all better.
Luminous beings are we... not this crude matter.
