There are minor internal changes, to "Americanize" some words.

I've noticed that...unfortunately, the only real things I can notice are missing "u"s, the word "mum" changed to "mom", and I think at one point I read someone saying "soccer" instead of "football". My knowledge is understandably limited.

By the way, I think Lee Jordan is still a male in the movies, last we saw him he just still had that high girly voice. The long dreadlocks didn't really help, either.

(Now Blaise Zabini, that's a hard one to place! Not in the movies, but still, I can't help but wonder, boy or girl?)

In the novels, Lee Jordan was male, but in the movie he was inexplicably changed to female.

'Tis very odd, that. S/he didn't seem very matey with Fred and George in either movie either, which is very odd considering they're all supposed to be best mates. Or did I miss something?

If I remember correctly, the only thing he actually did do in the movie was Quidditch commentary...
