Ouch. laugh.gif

One admission, though...I liked Batman and Robin. blush.gif

Sure, it may not have had, you know, a story, or a plot, or a meaning or much in the way of characters or those kind of things...but the sets were inventive, and I quite liked Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy...I got the sense that she was the only one there who knew how much the whole thing sucked, and so didn't try and horribly fail to act, and wisely chose to wander about with brightly coloured hair instead.

Yahtzee, we had forgotten DNF a long time ago (3 days, to be precise).
Also, did I see Buckley as the 3rd least humble person in the world at around 22-23?

Also, what is the button combination for masturbating on the PC version? The Steam version is full of bugs.

On serious note, I still can't get Age of Evil working. HELP!

(I expect to be much more entertaining that The interesting world of Chris Quinn)

Edit: Yes, I have tried everything to get AOE working.

Does anyone else like to browse through the comments on the Escapist site every once in a while? I know I do, just to remind me of why I wouldn't be so wrong about going around knocking people's heads together.

I don't think Yahtzee is ours anymore. He belongs to the kind of people at The Escapist and Game Damage, and he panders to this lowest common denominator by agreeing to the setting up of forums with reprehensible names like 'The Tard Farm' and continuing to sing the praises of Something Awful for god knows what reasons (blackmail?).

The video was alright, despite the perpetual rehashing of the same joke '3D Realms is staffed with idiots'. It also seems Yahtzee is trying to make a satirical point but I'm not sure what. Maybe that 3D Realms is staffed with idiots?

Indeed, indeed. Personally, I guess that he's just playing along to milk his cashcows for as long as he can, since those things surely won't last forever. May piss off the elitist crowd (read: us), but hell, I wouldn't do it any other way. If I had any talent.

Don't underestimate yourself. We all have something special, but some of us don't know how to express them and some of us don't have the tools.

Edit: SOMEONE HELP ME! COME ON YOU LAZY BUGGERS! If you're claiming you're so smart, help me get this thing (the mod) working.

Yeah well it'd help if you'd actually describe what exactly does the "everything" you did to get it running extend to; do you have Vista or not; were you actually able to get the Atomic Edition to work before installing AoE; etc. etc. etc.

I thought it was well, shit really. But I can't complain, after all it was another greedy installment of the man we all so love, like Britain loves Boris Johnson or David Cameron (obviously sarcasm because Cameron is a right twat)

My D3D:AE is the Vista/XP compatible version from GOG.com
https://www.gog.com/en/frontpage/
(Hey, it's not fussy)
The game runs fine on it's own, but I use Eduke32 for improving the framarate and controls:
http://www.eduke32.com/

Well, the game works great.

According to the AOE readme file, I am supposed to "Unzip the contents of the zip file into [my] duke3d directory. Ensur[ing] that the files are set out thusly:

EVIL_INSTALL.BAT, EVIL_UNINSTALL.BAT and EVIL.TXT (this file) in the Duke3D root directory

All other files in a new folder called 'EVIL', eg C:\DUKE3D\EVIL\"

It may sound silly, but I am confused already. I've tried to run Install.bat in the Dos Box folder and then did the same thing in the directory for more than ten times.

Thanks for the compliment but no, no I'm not, just another run of the mill Englishman who has had the misfortune of living in place that I can only describe as being arrogantly big, where you live 3 miles from the sun and everything in the bush is made to kill you, even the animals, live 3 miles from the sun rendering SPF OVER FUCKING 9000 sunscreen about as useless as a walrus in the kitchen serving tea and prawn sandwiches, which is also how I would describe the population here... completely Asian, all of them (note: I am not prejudiced) I just don't like when they smell of arse and fish in the video store and they're rude *tut* I'm gonna stop before a burst a hole in my arse for speaking out of it to long

Well, London is the same old shit hole it always was, always is and always will be. TV here is boring as ususal. I'd rather watch stuff online.

That's about it. I'm happy with pretty much anything else.
