Clearly coffee is not popular here... how bout caffeine in general??
Red Bull? I buy them by the case at sam club or one of those warehouse stores I hate going in. My favorite though is cans of whoop ass from jones soda co. I first had that when I had a job at the msft campus in seattle during the xbox development days. The official drink of the xbox dev team was this energy drink called whoop ass and they sold it in their cafeteria. Good stuff, tastes like mountain dew with less lime. I think you can order it from thinkgeek still.

Ah, now you're talkin'...
I've had family members and friends express concern over the amount of pop that I consume, and I've heard good things about this caffienated hot sauce that's out there...

Red Bull?

I have had this drink's cousin, 'BawlZ'. It's good, but too much can mess up your system I heard. I just had a bottle of it so I could survive one night. It worked!

Yea i've had bawls too. Didn't like the taste as much as redbull or whoop ass. I bought the bawls and whoop ass from here but doesn't look like they sell the whoop ass anymore.

Ah, they sell the mighty Jolt. The only one of these that I seem to be able to buy in stores...seriously though, we poured Jolt on train tracks one time and it ate through the rusted bits. No lie. And their mixed Jolt case has Citrus Climax! I haven't seen that stuff in ages...

I ran out of coffee filters and coke'd it a day. "I like my caffeine cold," an old friend used to say.

I risked it and used a paper towel this morning. You know what? it worked fine. for me anyway.

Paper towels work fine, they're essentially just square filters. If you fold it a few times, you increase the paper towel's amazing filtering power!

I don't really drink much coffee, soda, or energy drinks at all. Water, flavoured water (tea), or juice for me. Although, last night, I drank about 2 litres of mountain dew to stay awake all night.
I'm comfortably numb.

I've heard a lot of people lay claim to the power of Mountain Dew when it comes to staying up, but for me, it doesn't do a thing. I don't know why. For staying up, I choose either Jolt, or Dr. Pepper.

Mist: "flavored water (tea)" laugh.gif

I remember a consumer reports story mentioning Mountain Dew as the Everest of Caffeine drinks. but this was before the lightning bolt of Jolt hailed down.

That cola didn't quite cut it for me, personally. Seemed kind of flat and generic. Maybe if Coke came out with a high-caffeine formula I'd go for that.

There was also a mixed drink, I forget what it was called. Jump-start? you'd take a jolt and add rum.

Note to self: By case of jolt, bottle of rum.

Actually, I haven't found myself to be too affected by any kind of caffiene, but I was at a LAN party, and that was all there was to drink (that was non-alchoholic). I'm not sure if the mountain dew kept me awake, or if it was simply the fact that I was at a party, or both.

*shrug*

I suppose two litres of anything would have done just fine. I would've gone for water, but their water wasn't working. dry.gif I'd never been to a LAN party before, though. It was interesting. I got a lot of new toys to play with. happy.gif

If you are looking for the Jones whoop ass I found it here.

Red Bull may have displaced it as my favorite though just because I like the taste the same and red bull is much more readily available and I can buy cases of it at sam's club. But you still have to love a company that prints this on their can:

"The last thing the world needs is another energy drink, so here's one more. At Jones, we mixed an old skool Japanese formula with our attitude. With ingredients like TAURINE, ROYAL JELLY, and INOSITOL, this stuff is legit. Run with the little guy... if you can keep up!

Not recommended for people who shouldn't drink it. You know who you are."
