And barend, I was trying to extend your joke, but I think I overdid it.

YEah, and I was just clarifying that we had no idea who she was. and why I didn't care. The only part of my post directed at you was the bit saying we didn't know her.

I mean the only reason I'd heard her name before was because she'd occasionally get mentioned on the internet for being in faux naked in clips and screne caps, expecting me to jerk off to her to because she was on TV for being a talentless worthless nobody because that's what people want apparently; to watch them selves in a subhuman social terminal feedback loop of a downward spiral further lowering the bar of the human condition.

Now I'm just angry on behalf of my apathy... I feel violated.

Celebrating the death of somebody you didn't like or agree with pretty much makes you a dick.

I'm not going to go to your funeral and tap dance on your coffin.

How much sense do you think this makes?

Which is true, but is also something nobody is doing. Like I said, wouldn't wish cancer on anyone, but its just insulting they think we give a flying fuck. She was a vacuous, stupid person, she died from a horrible disease, stop looping her on the news already.

In Australia, for fucks sake. I'm so sorry, Australia.

That's literally it. That's the entire sum of her achievements.

EDIT: I've just noticed that's from an Australian site. The delicious irony.

Like Hitler?

Look we're just annoyed that she was singled out and brought to our attention because she a was just some person. If they mention her, then they should have a fucking emergency news break every time anyone dies. Making a big deal about her death trivialises everyone else’s death.

All of it or just the bit about not caring so much I care that they think I care even though I don't care what they think?

And what was she doing on "celebrity" BB?

You're on this show because you're celebrity for being on this show because you're not a celebrity?

WHAT?

We're not taking a day off work or wearing special hats or anything, no.

Yeah, OK, that was pretty messed up of him, but that aside, I'm still right, if only in my meaning.

You don't need confetti or parties to celebrate, dipshit.

Thanks for bringing Hitler up, too. It killed your argument before it had a chance to germinate.

Whoa whoa, this is getting a bit personal now isn't it?

And why does Hitler 'kill the argument'? Because someone on Usenet said it does?

How about because Jade Goody != Hitler. Unless she committed a genocide that I'm unaware of.

a) This is not a celebration
b) This is Internet, Josh, not the office/pub/outside/real life.

The argument "Celebrating the death of somebody you didn't like or agree with pretty much makes you a dick." is disproved if a case can be shown in which celebrating the death of somebody you didn't like or agree with doesn't make you a dick.

Course, it doesn't disprove that celebrating Jade Goody's death makes you a dick, which would seem to be more relevant.
