Actually, once you hatch from the egg (you can do that early on but it's easy to overlook) you can talk to the other birds. I've finished the fuckmotherer on easy and there's no fucking way I'm ever going to try normal, I value my sanity (or what's left of it). Anyway, heist mode is pretty awesome if you can find some other retard who's willing to give it a try even after seeing the graphics.

I just can't figure this game out. I can't even figure out how to save @ the save points...

Fuck I'm dumb.

Hey, wait. You can't just admit it like that - you gotta give us something to work with, it's no fun if you take the wind out of our sails so soon. sad.gif

There's a great big down arrow that appears above it when you get near it.

And hooray for The Path. Rapists/Fairy Tale fans needed their own game.

Tale of Tales might be the worst indie game developer ever.

I'm guessing you chose the emo girl with the limp leg on your first playthrough. What was her name again?

I watched a Let's Play.

It's hotly debated, but it seems pretty clear to me and just about everybody else who has either played the game/watched somebody else play the game that rape is heavily implied in 5 out of the 6 stories. The youngest girl, the one with the real wolf -- she doesn't have an implied rape scene. They all get murdered.

What's funny are the people who are really into denying the existence of rape, like that makes it a whole hell of a lot better if you only lead 6 girls to be brutalized so that they can barely walk to their own murder.

Now, even though the creators never explicitly said that the story is about rape, the press kit includes a warning that each girl's story has heavy sexual content. I don't know about you guys, but the last time I had consensual sex I didn't have bruises all over my body whilst coming to in the middle of a pouring rainstorm.

I did not imply myself that such themes don't excist. In fact, they do. No, I'm against rape aswell and I'm not a fan of rape fantasies either. That would be just bizarre and ironic if I did.

Maybe you've missed the point that we're supposed to learn a lesson from this rather than just be shocked by how each girl ends up in deep shit.

My first play through with Robin was simple; I ignored the forest and ran streight towards Grandma's house. Robin then went up to her grandma's room, where the dead/asleep old woman laid on her bed. There was a stuffed wolf in her room. Right then I realised that this game is about the symbolism and morals.
When I got the scoreboard, I finally realised that I am SUPPOSED to meet the wolf. At first, it was shocking to me. The scoreboard seemed ironic. Very ironic. Why would the scoreboard be there and why should it tell me that I have 'failed' for not doing what it tells me to.

On my second play through, I got more familiar with the gameplay and through this play through with Ruby, I found her to be bizarre and when I met the wolf, I hesitated at first and later gathered my courage to do 'it'. Prior to the encounter, I got into her, as in I got to know what kind of person she is. Somehow I wanted her to just go to the pay phone and get back home, but curiosity got the best of me.
After the encounter I was puzzled. She was lying on the ground and there was no music playing and neither was there any credits rolling. I finally woke her up and she took control and walked to the house by herself. The rest was mind-fuck as grandma's house turned into a roller coaster ride, filled with bizarre images.

Then I felt guilty, quit the game and turned off my PC. I never thought I would feel so bad about doing something that wasn't even real, especially in a game. But then I realised there was a moral to this story.

Recently I had a play through with Rose and hers was more of a mystical adventure. It didn't seem to be a sad story. I think she just had an accident.

Now, common! Don't you think you're jumping into conclusions and misjudging this? smile.gif

In short, no.

In long, I suggest you read through this thread because this has all been discussed in a much more epic fashion.
