Orbitz Review Thank you

Thank you for your insightful review of Orbitz the 'beverage'. I still have a bottle of Pineapple-Cherry-Banana-Coconut flavour, but I don't have a digital camera, and my friends online wouldn't believe me that someone had actually made such a thing. Your readers might be interested to know that as the bottle approaches ten years of age, the weird little balls are losing their floatiness. I wonder if the taste improves with age?

I'm glad you enjoyed the article! My bottles of Orbitz still seem to be maintaining their neutral buoyancy for the time being. I will watch them like a hawk. A neutrally buoyant hawk!

Oh Orbitz...I wish I had kept a few bottles of Pepsi Blue. I miss that berry-flavoured gunk.

It's true, he did. They are stored next to the giant bottle-shaped ads for Mountain Dew Livewire and the crates of extinct beverages undamaged by a "Curatorial Accident' this winter ... Chefelf's apartment is a virtual temple to the Extinct Beverage!

I wish there was still some evidence of the existance of clear Pepsi. (...and I wish I owned that evidence.)

Me too. I tried a few times, in vain, to get some of that evidence off of Ebay. Prices were to steep.

Crystal Clear Pepsi was awesome. I loved that drink. It tasted like normal pepsi but with out the dye.

Remember the commercial they did for crystal gravy? That stuff was delicious!

All of these sound very nice, but you want a really bad drink, from a Brit's point of view?

Mountain Dew: Red alert.

When I went to the fair and sunny land of America, I discovered Mountain Dew, and it was good. Very good. I wish I had some here, actually.

But Red alert is to Mountain Dew as my brother is to me; a debased copy riding off of the name. Yucky indeed.

But Mountain Dew... biggrin.gif

Okay, it's called "Code Red" and your anti-cherry sentiments have found no hold in my heart against such a glorious beverage.

Agreed. It's one of the best "drink spinoffs" to come our way in years.

Code Red was good. I think we are getting way too pesimistic (sp?) here. Crystal Clear, Pepsi Max, Code Red are all good drinks.
