While not actually being able to provoke any hard laughter, I guess its a step forward for videogames in general to have something or someone to strictly use satire. Its atleast much more lausable than everyone else is attempting to achive, a good laugh.

Its probably the only game that got me puzzled for a long while. Though I then lurked around and figured that there is more satire to this than expected.
what I actually found funny was that many took this seriously.

But hey, you gotta give the art department some credit. They did a nice job and didn't just scribble through.

Hell, you even get an achivement for actually starting a game and another for pausing in-game. What a brilliant idea!

The gameplay kinda reminds me of Kane and Lynch.

Actually, it's a step backward. Remember a little game called The Secret of Monkey Island?

He talks too much and the blood is blue, otherwise i'm sure it has some good moments in it. Probably won't buy it though.

The Wikipedia article still messes with my mind.

QUOTE (Said Wikipedia article)
It also is the first real game in a fictional series mirroring the progression of the Duke Nukem series of games, from early 8-bit to modern consoles.

So there where fictional games that mirrored the progression of the Duke Nukem series before? What the hell are they trying to say? I'm sure that they would not include 8-bit graphics and levels in that game and slowly work their way upwards, so what the hell? wacko.gif

Seems quite good, but it probably has the Art Game Problem.
I'd get if it came out for the PC. Console games just cost too much, while the PC ones...
Uh...

yeah, i'd totally BUY it. Yeah. Uh-huh. Yeah.

If i did own a console, it would've been a rental for me.

I'm sure the experience in Matt Hazard's game is unparralel and incomparable to Monkey Island. I need no explenation on how Monkey Island was, thank you verrrrry much.

Its obvious this whole experince was meant to be frustrating and the jokes are pretty much up our asses, but atleast someone attempted a full scale sarcastic videogame about the industry in general, focusing only on the Indestry, its philosophies and nothing else.

I mean, common' the jokes were written by 30-60 year olds.

If you like unlocking achievements, you might like Achievement Unlocked.

Videogame humor is always unfunny.

Unlocking achivements may be fun, but its just a waste of time for me. Some achievements just sound rediculous sometimes, especially the ones for Team Fortress 2 which can be only achived by:
a) Cheating
b) luck
c) code breaking
d) Wanking
or
e) going onto an achivement server

Feels like I'm being robbed of my humanity.

Well...if it out and out tries to be funny for it's own sake, yeah. Sometimes though, they can find room for something moderately funny without mangling the game.
