Also has anyone noticed that Ruby Tuesday is a creepy place? The one I've been to the lights are always dimmed and you can't hear a word someone else is saying unless they're at your table. Even the help is quiet and low-key. I think secret agents like to meet there.

I had the second-worst meal of the last decade at a Ruby Tuesday's this winter. Chefelf and I went to have a late dinner after looking at some Christmas lights, and since it was cold and I wanted some hearty food I ordered the French Onion soup. Apparently, Ruby Tuesday's interpretation of French Onion Soup is to take a salty, oniony broth, serve it in a shallow bowl with some garlic-flavoured pumpernickle bread croutons bobbing near the surface, and then to top the whole thing off with a melted Kraft cheese slice.

It was ghastly.

Bah, the only thing people go there for are drinks I think, drinks and illicit dealings. It's kind of like my old house.

Yes, I own the entire Ruby Tuesdays chain and I can confirm that secret agents meet there. Agents of the alliance!!!!!!! Viv le Alliance! Chefelf should know of what I speak. Anyway, the only foreing food that I would not eat would be something consisting of or including bugs! Yuck! :yuck:
