Anyone finds alan interesting? I mean, the whole 'I lost my wife/lover/muse' thing coupled with 'I'm also in a town called Bright Falls' and the 'These shoes belonged to James Suderland' stuff sounds familiar, but alteast I'm personally glad that at least we know the town is in Washington. Oh, and don't forget the 'I had a girlfriend, but I'm not if she is gone or even existed because I have insomnia or something' plot device. It always works and we all fall for it, every now and then.

Also, lets not forget the 'wow, look I'm in a large area, all alone In the Dark and everything is interactive and I can probably do some funny stuff with the physics' thing too, and I still haven't bought ALITD yet.

Alan may look Generic, but I'm sure he can do the job. But lets hope there wont be any Farenheit syndromes or whatever you call them.

And from the looks of the engine, we're probably looking at the next generation.

Grand theft Auto Silent Hill - Anagrama (actually, it sounds quite promising)

I would be expecting:
-"No, Alan...you are the demons!"
-"It was my fault, I killed her."
-Doctors
-Cults
-magic
-weapons of the old
-FLASHLIGHT!
-Lost friend
-Monsters
-emoness
-delusions
-remedy's own pyramid head
-Max Payne references
-Extreme weather conditions
-FOG
-"Are you Mary?"

On serious note, any game where Sam Lake works on would be pretty awesome.

Any thoughts?

Pop quiz, hotshot. Garry Kasparov is coming to kill you, and the only way to change his mind is for you to beat him at chess. What do you do, what do you do?

What?

Surprisingly, I got the same reaction like yours in another forum.

Or it will probably be another Duke Nukem with Indigo prophesy syndrome.

Yeah, it's a ripoff of it made by the developers of Max Payne.

To aquire the Zombie ending, simply follow these easy steps:

1. Go onto the AlanWake forums and make an account
2. Make threads about how frustrated you are and that you can't wait no more
3. State that Alan Wake is going to be vaporware just like Duke
4. Say that Alan Wake is ripping off all mainstrem titles
5. Shoop screenshots
6. Do the same thing on other forums
7. Call Sam Lake and whine for an hour about how displeased you are. Trust me, he would love to hear from you smile.gif
8. Anger everyone
9. ????
10. PROFIT!

But seriously, Sam's a good writer.
