- Did Jaques really take ten minutes to pitch Bruce/Tad The Banana movie ideas?
- Did Paul really dismiss Bruce's chit-chat with a "pfft" type gesture?
- Did anyone actually ask Tad if he wanted marker applied to his peel?
- Do you still hold Bruce's soul locked in eternal damnation?

Right, so I'm browsing through the L&E archives, as I am prone to do, and I stumbled upon this. For one reason or another, I had never read this article. Ever. A few questions arose from the matter:

Helpful Hint: Nothing Jacques has ever said has ever been true.
BTW: I still have Tad. He's in my room... much to the disappointment of Jen.

Ah, Tad. I will never forget the day I first made his acquaintance. Searching through Chefelf's bookcase in search of a DVD, I stumbled upon a dusty brown husk. "Sweetheart," I asked Chefelf in a mild and mellifluous voice, "Do you want be to throw away this odd, dried out and repellent specimen of organic matter?"
"Why, Jen!" Chefelf replied. "That is Tad the Banana!" And indeed, you could just make out the "TAD" written on what had once been the peel.
I learned a lot that day. Bananas air dry a LOT better than I had expected, for one.

I would've thought that he'd simply turn to mush...
That is what I was expecting as well... oddly it turned into a petrified black and shrivelled banana. I photo-documented the aging process.

I will consider it. I took two picutres a day, every day, with the intention of greating an animation that showed the rapid aging of TAD. I took all the pics then got lazy. I'll see if I can dig them up.
