It's just a club. Most universities and even high schools have something like it.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

I get where you're coming from, but that chart is US statistics.

Spoon, if the chart were showing worldwide stats, then it would show an overwhelming majority of blacks have the disease. In the US the black commuity has a higher incidence owing to poverty and IV drug use, while the gay community has a higher incidence due to promiscuity and as Barend said, they don't share their disease with women.

However I don't agree that conservatives are necessarily frigid or timid. Of course they don't switch partners as frequently as fellows in the gay ghettos, but I have no theory as to why those randy condom-denying bible lovers aren't infected more.

Anyway, one incident in 20 years is still pretty good. Go, organ donor program!

Neither does a certain Republican senator and his friend in the MSP airport bathroom.

I have one, but it involves few available subjects in a closed environment. And/or incest.

The main reason why it ain't overly common in the straight community: Men are less likely to get it from women, if the odds of a man catching from a woman it were the same as a women getting it from a man, we'd all be dead already.

How did this thread get to "are gays more horney?". The question I was asking was more about the ethics of anonymous organ donation... huh.gif

So this baby, while still inside its mother, murdered his twin brother and STOLE HIS PENIS.

That is one badass baby.

If I may weight in here. I'm used to having my ideas called ridiculous, but this is how I see it. Yes, we do have a right to know where they come from. And we have a right to reject an organ based on the donor's age, sexuality, race, or fashion sense.

Does this mean we should? Of course not. Organs are probably tested for all sorts of things. Not just picked up and thrown in willy-nilly. Its a medical procedure, not a basketball game. But we SHOULD be able to know who they come from if we want to.

Yes, its stupid and homophobic not to want a gay guy's organs, but if you don't want a gay guy's organs, that's your business. I'll question your reasons, and logic, but not your ability to decide.

Regarding gay culture... Again. There's not really a gay culture. Or rather, there are lots of gay cultures. Gay isn't one way of acting. There are the gay guys who dress well and flap their hands and say "Oh, you" and there are the ones who go to gay clubs. There are the promiscuous ones and the ones who rarely have anything at all. There are the ones who mostly give each other handjobs like Mr. Aeon and his friends, and there are the ones who have anal sex at the drop of a hat.

There are gay sub-cultures, but to call something a gay culture implies all gays follow it. Clearly not true. I know really slutty gay people. And I know really nice ones. I even know a conservative one.

I will agree with Spoon, however, that admitting to your homosexuality makes the admission that you're stepping outside societal norms. And that might lead to a greater willingness to accept promiscuity.

Its like furries. I know you're probably rolling your eyes, but hear me out.

The following statement is true. Anthropomorphic animals, as much as I would prefer otherwise do not actually exist.

This statement is also true. That I am sexually attracted to anthropomorphic animals.

I'll do it for math people.

Anthros (A) = Not Real (N).

Sexually attractive (H for Hot)= Anthros (A).

If A=N
And H=A
Then H=A=N

Or, to simplify

H=N

Things which can't exist can be attractive. Of course this is subjective. So, if ANTHROS can't exist and are hot, why not other things? Hence the pervasity of things like macro, micro, vore, etc in the furry fandom.

I suggest that what Spoon is suggesting is a similar conclusion, PARTICULARLY in areas of the country where homosexality is frowned upon.

Sexuality (S) = Homosexuality (H)

Homosexuality (H) = Frowned upon (F)

S=H=F

Therefore

S=F

The sexuality is frowned upon. Presuming one's sexual preferences are good, and people admit to them.

Now

Multiple Partners (M) = Frowned Upon (F)

So.

If homosexuality is acceptable (and it must be to you if you're doing it) then things which are frowned upon with no basis must also be acceptable. In short, something being frowned upon is not a reason not to do it.

So therefore, multiple partners are acceptable.

However, I may simply be trying to rationalize a stereotype with a faulty metaphor. I acknowledge that. But prove me wrong anyway, or else the discussion won't go anywhere and that's no fun.

If I may summarize my argument, however.

Yes, you should be able to know where the organs come from. You just shouldn't want to know.
