What do you think? Are you as curious as I am? Does anybody know more? I just heard vaguest hints @ the Australian Gamer podcasts, and I know the link. That's not much.

I'm old enough to know that speculation at this juncture is pointless.

Edit: Just like this post, in fact... I apologise.

Speculation is pointless.

However, the page title is 'A new show featuring Yahtzee, Yug and Matt', so I am willing to postulate that the website is a home for a new show featuring Yahtzee, Yug and Matt.

Whether it will be a podcast or video thing (Vodcast, I believe) remains to be seen. However, I was thinking the other day that YZ, Yug and Matt should do every AG podcast together.

Doubt it. Heavily. Unless they really do a whole lot more than standing around talking about games. It's not like they could get drunk like they usually do on the audio-only show.

After half a year of lurking I finally registered to link something I found on the AG forums.

http://uk.youtube.co...feature=related

and while searching for that I found:

http://uk.youtube.co...h?v=ajeTMsM1Ccw

The first is the preview for Game Damage filmed at E-Games and has an entertaining Q and A session with Yahtzee, Matt and Yug afterwards. The second is a much better version of whats previewed in the first.

Hey wow, that actually does look quite entertaining. I wonder how much of it is unscripted.

My main gripe was those Yug and Matt guys giggling like schoolgirls whilst Yahtzee was reading the news. They need to be a bit more austere; it's not a podcast anymore.

I wonder if the pilot was meant to be that short. Looks like jolly, good fun anyways.

Yeah, it's my first post. Hello to all the mean people on the internet.

EDIT: to, not too.

We're not mean, we're just surprisingly realistic.

Oh wait, that's synonymous. Nevermind then.

From what I can tell, it's basically an Australian Gamer podcast given more of a sense of direction. I'd actually reccomend the AG podcasts - I listen to them despite being a Pommy bastard.

The Channers don't like Yug and Mat. I don't know why, but probably because they have kids.

Watched the pilot. I wanted to like it, I really did, but this is a trainwreck. Everything feels awkward and uncomfortable, Yahtzee's the only guy with any screen presence or likability (pointless reaction shots of Yug and Matt during the 'news' were awful decisions), the skits were unfunny, cuts during filming were obvious and badly-timed, along with most of the jokes, sound quality was horrendous, the greenscreening looks awful, and the three of them squished together on that couch gave the overall impression of three amateurish deer caught by very bright headlights in the middle of doing something embarrassing.

I had to close it after a few minutes. It just hurt too much to watch. With a good director/production crew, and Yug and Matt replaced with a telegenic guy with broadcast experience, it could fly. As it stands, we see Yahtzee crushed under the weight of trying to carry an entire show.

I would like to suggest two coach guns, three 12. boxes and Power Metal music.

In short, lets all hunt down and eliminate Yug and Matt for the lulz.
