I just watched the movie Mirrors and the main theme sounds very similar to the song that plays whenever John Defoe appears in 7DAS. I found it abit weird. Did they both just take the same song from the same place or did one steal from the other or was it just a big coincidence?

Coincidence?

There is a classical piece that sounds very similar to one of the Chzo Mythos tracks, though I can't remember which one. My guess is the guy who did the music for the game took a lot of inspiration from that track, and the original piece being quite popular. I do remember hearing it play in the cinema at some point when I was buying popcorn to see Saw 5 (eurgh...) but not sure what movie it was tied in with. I'm guessing it was Mirrors now
I also remember it being used in some sort of car advert a few months back
Edit: Just went back to the 7DAS soundtrack, I know the song you're talking about. I don't think it was given a title in the OST other than "music2.mid" but I named it Tension...and yeah it's the one I was thinking of, very much like that classical piece.
Further edit: A quick look at wikipedia informs me:
"Score
Javier Navarrete used a prior existing work of classical music, Leyenda (Asturias) by Isaac Albéniz, as the film's main theme."
Not actually a classical piece, an acoustic guitar piece...
third and hopefully FINAL edit:
It seems that actually, the composer for 7DAS just used a midi of this song >_< there's a couple differences, but wow, it's really similar, I just noticed.

I was under the impression that there was no 'composer' for 7DAS, because all the music was just random crap from RPG maker or something along those lines.

Actually I think you're right, in which case whoever made the RPG maker music ripped it off
