Michael Crichton died yesterday at age 66.

I was overtly critical of some of his books, but a few remain some of my favourite cautionary science fiction books from my youth (mainly "The Andromeda Strain" and "Jurassic Park").

I was very sad when I heard this. I loved most of his books, even the terrible ones (fun to read).
No one even knew he had cancer...
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

two words of appreciation for Crichton:

RISING

SUN

Peter Brady was by far the ugliest Brady kid on the "Brady Bunch". I mean, they were all pretty ugly, and the fact that the Brady dad wanted to always take the boys out on overnight camping trips just a tad bit too often, gave me the creeps.

Well said everyone.

He was my favorite author.
"I've come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubble gum."
-John Carpenter's They Live

"God help us...in the future."
