Everyone remembers the classic game, lol. I remember it concluded well but that new "demon" just teased the hell out of ever since, making me wonder if Ben would ever come back to the beloved franchise. I'm sure he's aware of all the incredible feedback and awards for those games so hopefully that makes him think about making more and getting it even more popular.

This is a reasonable question, no? Please share your opinions. And then maybe we can do something crazy like make a petition for Ben to make more! lol, wishful thinking.

Anyway as a bonus, can anyone recommend any games similar to Chzo Mythos. I also played his 1213 series which was also awesome. But if anyone can recommend any point-and-click style that's similar to or as good as Chzo Mythos please let me know. I just love the rich story and deep atmosphere. By the way if you guys haven't tried Clock Tower: Revenge of the scissor girl, try it. So far it's the only old school type game that faintly resembles Chzo.

As far as making another Chzo game, I think there are still some possibilities out there. Yahtz didn't completely tie up all the lose ends. For example it was never fully explained what happened to Jim. However, I find it extreemly unlikely that the man will make another game in the series anytime soon, and if he doesn't want to make the game he simply won't. No petition will sway him, he doesn't care about the popularity of his games. He doesn't even check these forums anymore.

So basically yes it's possible, but no you shouldn't hold your breath on that one. Even if it did eventually come out you wouldn't have enough brain cells left to enjoy it.

Personally, I'd hope not...as much as I liked TN, suddenly sticking an all-powerful godlike entity of doom that exists outside linear time into things as the reason everything has happened is very rarely anything like a good idea. The first 2 games were, IMHO, by far the best, the last 2 had good points (the Tall Man especially), but felt a bit samey (what's the bet that when the kid turns round, there'll be something wrong with its face, but it'll all be a dream?), and was just pading the story out.

I'd consider the Chzo Mythos fairly closed now, It's run it course really. But be very happy with more spin offs like the Art of Theft. That was fantastic.

What Mr. Thaluikhain said.

But not what Mr. Man Of Doom said - Mr. Yahtzee should move on and create something original again, those characters and the whole set up are getting really old and dry after so many sequels and spin offs and stories and what not.

Plus, he'd only shove himself deeper into the "Dark humour with British flavour" drawer with his name on it. Meaning everytime he releases something new, you won't be quite as surprised about the topic and twists as you were the last time, and you'll start noticing even more of his fingerprints everywhere.

As previously said before countless times and will be said countless more times so long as new members come on here like that;
The short answer no.
The long answer;
No because it's been done and it's over. There is no way to expand on it that wouldn't take away from the game.

He did say that he might one day make an expansion for Art of Theft, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it. We were hoping for a level editor, too, but since all of the heists are programmed individually and there is no palette... yeah.

...

Although I said I wouldn't like more Chzo mythos stuff...well...if Yahtzee were to sell taser umbrellas (or a Chzo fursuit), or if those people ever finish that 3D 5DAS game (or that "movie" with "Tribly")...I'd sort of be interested.

No more games, but spin offs and merchandising are fair enough.

It sounds more like something Yahtzee would suggest his fanbase create, knowing many would electrocute themselves to death in the attempt.

It's as good as done then. Who should we test it on though?

I wonder what's happening with that. I did try registering in their forums to provide setting information (its very obviously set in Bucks, the county I live in), but it never let me register. Their loss.
