The next question to ask would be, "Why did you have rule34.net bookmarked in the first place?", but I'm not sure I really want to know.

Because he's from fucking 4chan, that's all there is to it. He posts those unfunny motivation parodies and quotes memes while all the while complaining about 4chan in this thread. I mean look at his avatar for crying out loud. It's difficult to find someone more in denial.

"I felt insulted until I realized that the people trying to mock me were the same intellectual titans who claimed that people would be thrown out of skyscrapers and feudalism would be re-institutionalized if service cartels don't keep getting political favors and regulations are cut down to only a few thousand pages worth, that being able to take a walk in the park is worth driving your nation's economy into the ground, that sexual orientation is a choice that can be changed at a whim, that problems caused by having institutions can be solved by introducing more institutions or strengthening the existing ones that are causing the problems, and many more profound pearls of wisdom. I no longer feel insulted because I now feel grateful for being alive and witnessing such deep conclusions from my fellows."

Ummm no, considerably different.

4chan is a bunch of unwashed pricks pretending to be racist because they don't dare act like that in public.

Whereas SA is at least funny on occasion.

I've been to both, there is little discernable difference. I thought one spawned the other anyway.

4chan was created by a guy on SA's forums, as far as I know.

At times, /b/ can be fucking hilarious, it's just a shame there's so much dross on there.

Much the same as SomethingAwful, although at least thats presented as grownups writing in proper sentences.

That's what this place is for.
