Hey everybody. Although this is my first post I have been lurking for a while. This forum is one of the more entertaining ones on the internet, but lately it's just gotten out of hand. I realize most of you guys have used the magic ignore button so you may have missed some of the craziness, but I feel like everything that has recently happened with several new members has been orchestrated by one person. It's just too much. There's just too many coincidences that seem to be leading up to something, some end goal. The man behind the curtain may be yahtz, or maybe not. Who knows. I just wanna know if all you regulars are thinking the same thing I am.

Either way I hope all you guys don't abandon this forum, 'cause whatever its faults this is a good community.

i agree with you completely
i doubt it's yahtzee, though, i don't think he has the time nor the personality to do this.

Is it too early to blame the CIA?

Seriously though, I'm rather curious how trolls ended up traveling in packs. I've been told that too chic is actually a real person elsewhere on the forums, and the main point of debate seems to be whether it was two or three trolls, whether Kurt and Hldme were different people.

I'm actually going to have to say yes. Hldme, regretably, invaded the other forums, while this is the first I've learned of Kurtt (I am not adding in the final T) I think it's possible that whoever the person behind Hldme was, that they simply drove a normal (if moronic) fully ramblo lurker to batfuck insanity through persistent suggestion. Perhaps one bad day can drive any of us mad.

Or maybe it was just a fucktard and his sockpuppet...

Hldme admitted to being Kurtt, but it doesn't matter has they were banned.
Too-Chic might actually be some person who likes to cosplay and hacked Hldme's account, or they might be an alt, or a completely individual troll.

There is no conspiracy here. The moon landing happened, USA didn't plan 9/11, get the hell over it.

How about we just don't give into the paranoia, close registrations and ban anyone with a post count lower than 50? I'm willing to sacrifice the traffic (i.e. profit) of Chefelf.com in order to find a final solution to this problem.

Patch- Really? Where did that happen? Damn, you might have cost me the office pool.

Deuacon- That'll show them! Way to not give into paranoia there, buddy.

Slade banned HldMeThrllMe and Kurtt last night, I believe. Or within the last eight hours, to put it into a timezoneless answer.

Anyway, it's getting to the point now where I'm about to resort to thrashing my arms about wildly, staring at the heavens and screaming something about demanding answers.

For a guy who runs a satirical website you don't know much about satire.

Its rather telling, that just after Spann unveils a message from HldMe delcaring, in perfect English, that he's Yahtzee, and said thread has now vanished... there's something amiss here, a bit more than Yahtzee wanting to play at trolling.

Why would Yahtzee (if he was disguised as a troll) admit it to Spann?
