Dream interpretation is bullshit.

Not really, since it isn't a specific science. Like you said, it all has to be put into context. Usually those mentioned situations point into some kind of direction, and that's where you with your conscious mind have to jump in and try to decipher what your subconsciousness is trying to tell you.

I love this stuff, it's like schizophrenia for the practitioner, since you're talking to yourself but usually don't have a clue of what you're babbling about there.

Yeah but it's still acting under the assumption that dreams mean something, which is not necessarily true. Your dreams may draw on completely random memories or thoughts that may or may not correlate to the direction your life is going. You really have no idea, so trying to interpret them is just taking shots in the dark and hoping you may be right. It's like those mediums who pretend they can talk to dead people but are really just using generalized patterns found in most people's lives.

It's like "Oh, you dreamed about falling off a building, that means that you have a significant amount of stress in your life." Who doesn't have a significant amount of stress in their life? Completely not helpful.

When the hell did FullyRamblomatic get so... abstract?

I'm not complaining, just wondering where this is coming from.

With Hldme gone we all just started tripping out from boredom. At least it's more interesting then the repetition of 'I liked the new ZP' vs 'I didn't, it sounded bitter and unenthused'

Sure dreams draw from a lot of random things, but those are still all things that float around your mind and very often reflect what you're confronted with during the day at that time in your life. So if you keep noticing some patterns, then you might wanna think about reacting. Lots of people are stressed, but even more so because they don't really know how to deal with it, so it just starts digging deeper until they can't spend a night without having nightmares, then becoming insomniac, then crossing the line to burnout syndrome.

I'm not signing in with the hypochondriac side here, humans are by definition as arbitrary as their dreams, but there's a limit to everything.

Uh, hi, I'm new here. Name's Ben (coincidence, I assure you). I basically got into the Chzo Mythos series earlier this year, and got instantly hooked. So, while I don't blindly worship Yahtzee, I do worship his excellent games. And I watch his Zero Punctuation reviews every week. But that's still not worshipping.

Anyway, I thought I would post some fanart I drew and such (unless this topic has since become a new dream discussion center...). It's not much, just a dumb sketch I did during one of the more boring parts of my math class (considering it's math, that's a hell of a lot of boring sections):

He seriously could have been a cool guest character for Brawl.

Sup Ben, welcome to the family. I am your Godfather, you must kill for me.

Or, you could just keep drawing pictures of the Prince stabbing Pikachus in Math class, either one's fine. (btw, is that snake in the tank-top and fairy wings?)

Yes, that's part of the doorstep.

Or it could fairy wings for Snake, I dunno. That's the magic of art, is that you can interpret it however you like.

Or, I just need to draw better.

And if you see a stray line on the scythe anywhere, that's actually an impaled Mr. Game & Watch viewed from the side.

Ahah, I was testing you all...

Good job people, I see your perception is at top-notch. Now where did I leave my Chloroform?

Hey guess what I've got your daily dose of crappy fanart!!!11!!!one!!

Here is a random sketch I did! It probably needs some explanation but I am not going to give any!

And as an added bonus, here's another even crappier thing, which is unfinished because I realized I totally screwed up the lighting. BUT OH WELL YOU GET TO SEE ANYWAY

And I drew these special while I was supposed to be studying. How I'm passing my classes I have no idea.

Which reminds me that I have online psychology quizzes that are due in a few hours. Hooray!

Wow, use of excess swearing in an attempt to hide the complete lack of humour, that always cracks me up. (NOT.)
