QUOTE (Gobbler @ Sep 16 2008, 12:03 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I was merely stating my opinion. The show only warmed up some of Buffy's characters, gave them a weak setting and another weak storyline to push through somehow. Angel was always trying to be the sad.gif-faced tough guy with a big heart that defies his nature (ohhh, character depth, yay!) and his sidekicks were Mr. "Let's forget I ever wasted money on that drama class" and Mrs. "I'm only here to stick those boobs into everyone's face". It might have had an appeal on the "I'm just watching it all casually like" level, but nothing more than that.

So i take it that you don't read
the 8th season of Buffy or the 6th season of Angel comics
Seems like we got a few peeps that don't like Joshy's work

I don't know what it is
but the comics seem to work a lot better
than the shows

at least for me. . .
i just hope that Dollhouse kicks ass
cuz i love Eliza Dushku and Tahmoh Penikett

and it holds everything together

And Daniel, you have a curious definition of the word interesting.

I assumed it was meant in the same sense as "May you live in interesting times."

A black hole is interesting, just not close up.

Patch:
Not to make a habit of siding with smacktards, but it is pretty silly to have a popularity list so openly kept and randomly added to/deducted from. I also think that your effort to rescue the "elite" of the FR forums, especially in reference to myself, Slade and Chyld, is redundant as we already have a greater forum world that we inhabit. I'd invite everyone to flee the trolls to the greater forums at large, but previous precedents prove prohibitive.

Tasteful alliteration as always, J m. And sadly true.

Meanwhile, I'll never understand the sci-fi/fantasy soap operas. I may or may not be missing out. Plus I'm really sick of vampires. I think I like zombies a lot more because once they have a 'personality' or 'character' they're not zombies anymore and I don't like them.

It's quite funny, to me at least, that I had to check my own signature to make my counter points.

I understand that some members are actually more active on other forums. I also see where you're coming from.

However, it wasn't meant to be a way to rescue the elite of the forum, it was more a shout out saying 'hey, you guys, I understand that you're better then some of what we've seen recently'. It's also meant for those who are sensible Yahtzee fans.

Removing Gobbler was just to point out that their recent behaviour has been less then admirable/respectable. I mean seriously, 'blahmbago'? '

What I'm trying to do overall is point out the recent state of the forums and their current state. New users suited to other forums, inhabited by trolls and a lack of (sub)forum quality, is this really what Fullyramblomatic was about? It's come to a point where even people I dislike, like Game Over, are preferred.

Meh, rant over. Admit defeat.

I chose to ignore your decision until now since I simply couldn't bring myself to care, but you just had to go ahead and unknowingly insult Jon Gutner as a counterproductive poster, which is slightly unforgivable. Do your homework - no such list could be complete without him.

He didn't make much of an appearance lately anyways, so all's good.

Time's hardly relevant on these forums.
