Hi, I've been a long-time fan of Yahtzee's games, but lately I've been unable to start any of the adventure games without an immediate error occurring. I played through 5das, 7 das, and Tribly's notes, but after a couple of computer upgrades, (I don't remember how long ago I played them), I can't play any of them anymore.

What I've got:

Intel Q6600
EVGA 8800GT
Gigabyte EP35-DS3L
Asus Xonar DX

Windows XP SP2

Here's the error:

QUOTE
---------------------------
Illegal exception
---------------------------
An exception 0xC0000094 occured in ACWIN.EXE at EIP = 0x004ACD4D ; program pointer is -182, ACI version 2.62.772, gtags (0,0)

AGS cannot continue, this exception was fatal. Please note down the numbers above, remember what you were doing at the time and notify CJ on the Tech forum.

I've looked on the AGS forums and only found a couple topics, which suggested asking the author of the games. Any help would be appreciated. (After playing the text adventures before 6 Days a Sacrifice was released, I'd really like to play it. tongue.gif)

I'm gonna guess you've just got a new graphics card.

But that link seems to deal with someone who had a similar problem.
Let me know if this helps.
