I think he just wrote than story to give a hint about how much he hated virgins and basement dwellers (and probably Otakus. Seriously, what sane person wouldn't want to include the Otakus in the next holocaust? Possibly Furries as well?).

Its probably something 'canon' to the main story, but with some references. Every writer might sometimes need to spit out his thoughts and opinions. Keeping thoughts inside your head and not letting them free would make you mad and frustrated. We certainly wouldn't want that to happen to anyone.

He has many fine points.
"I felt insulted until I realized that the people trying to mock me were the same intellectual titans who claimed that people would be thrown out of skyscrapers and feudalism would be re-institutionalized if service cartels don't keep getting political favors and regulations are cut down to only a few thousand pages worth, that being able to take a walk in the park is worth driving your nation's economy into the ground, that sexual orientation is a choice that can be changed at a whim, that problems caused by having institutions can be solved by introducing more institutions or strengthening the existing ones that are causing the problems, and many more profound pearls of wisdom. I no longer feel insulted because I now feel grateful for being alive and witnessing such deep conclusions from my fellows."

Hey guys, I am going to make a post in this thread, here, okay?

I would be against a new DeFoe/"Chzo mythos" game, everything is already tied up, like everyone else said, and so on.
5DAS was my favorite game, it made me laugh, TN was my least favorite (I think), it was scary and text-based and I don't know if I would have kept playing it unless I had it windowed and played it simultaneously with my friend like I did.
I was also kind of skeptical when I heard "hey guys in this game, Trilby is not a gentleman thief, he is a ghost hunter!" but then I decided that it was okay given the intro story. I'd gladly pay for the SEs without a second thought if I could, even though I am very reluctant to even spend money for food.

In short, I'd definitely like to see more of Trilby, but in a way that doesn't ruin him.
AoT was quite enjoyable even if I'm not so good at it (can't do much more than beat it), so I'm glad for it.

No, not okay. I have decided that I should be the one to solely limit where you are allowed to post and where you are not allowed to post. However, the one way to bypass this is to get someone else, anyone else, including yourself, to decide you can post here.
With that said, and the flames already rising...

Has anyone thought of another kind of game style that Yahtzee could do? Other then adventure, I mean, since they are his most popular.

idk, he's kinda covered everything (exept for rts, fps and board games). hmmm.... speaking of rts. maybe he could make 'Age of Empires IV: The Rise of Chzo' where you take command of chzo's forces and spawn millions of evil little trilby's and arrogant men. Oh the possibilities.
I pooped a hammer. I pooped a cornish game hen.

WHOOPS HERE COMES ANOTHER POST
Wellll, Age of Evil (and maybe even No Experience Necessary) kind of count for FPS, right?
I wouldn't mind if he just made adventure games, though. Would be kind of awful if he made some kind of... DATING SIM/RPG/DATING SIM RPG. Grinding forever!
A game like wing commander would be fine too, 'cause you can talk to people and also shoot things in outer space!

Also when I told my friend about 5DAS and 7DAS he said,
"8 Ways to Eat Cake is a spiritual sequel I am working on where Trilby enters a bakery and something takes over. He soon finds himself in a bakery that is rusty as shit and all the exits gone. He must survive this trip in delicious hell."

Any game with delicious (evil) cake is a game for me!

We then enter the cold abyss once again.

You don't seem to recognise that that discontinued project is, in fact, discontinued. Celebrate it by all means but don't bother clamouring for updates.

I have had a turn of heart... the game should be open source development as Yahtzee has no will to update the game, has made mistakes in his last few updates and I (as well as a handful of other people I can gather) have many ideas which we could program into the game.

Of course we need Yahtzee's approval as well the means to modify the game (i.e. the resources he used to make the game on AGS.)
