What I'm saying is, we're not the sort of group to jump all over someone because of how famous they are or what they've done. It's just not us. Or at least I hope we all have the maturity not to turn into a mob of screaming fan boys just because someone we think is cool posts something.

Bollocks. we've been that way over the big Y ever since the EZboard days, when you XDAS/ZP fanboys were, quite literally, in nappies. Oh, I'm so elitist this evening.

I found out about Yahtzee through Zero Punctuation. I used to think that the videos were all he did but then I went to his website and found all of his stuff. Right now I sit here thinking why I haven't heard of Yahtzee sooner if he's done all of this.

Because there are hundreds if not thousands of people who do the exact same thing.
"I felt insulted until I realized that the people trying to mock me were the same intellectual titans who claimed that people would be thrown out of skyscrapers and feudalism would be re-institutionalized if service cartels don't keep getting political favors and regulations are cut down to only a few thousand pages worth, that being able to take a walk in the park is worth driving your nation's economy into the ground, that sexual orientation is a choice that can be changed at a whim, that problems caused by having institutions can be solved by introducing more institutions or strengthening the existing ones that are causing the problems, and many more profound pearls of wisdom. I no longer feel insulted because I now feel grateful for being alive and witnessing such deep conclusions from my fellows."
-Jimmy McTavern, 1938.

Eh. 5 Days was packaged on the UK Pc Gamer CDs, and I made a point of generally ignoring the pre-packaged demo crap, as only 1 in 20 would be worth a look, and instead made a beeline for the indie games, and sure enough there was 5DAS.

However, it wasn't until I watched the first two ZP that I actually bothered revisiting FR, and made the connection that it was the same guy.

Boy did I feel dumb.

Yeah, Game Over, there's this site that Yahtzee has most of his old stuff on. It's called http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/. Down on the left there's a navigation bar, not completely dissimilar to those on *chan websites, so you should be able to navigate it quite easily. One of them reads 'novels'.

Personally I prefer 'dicussionmentative'. Let's not derail a topic, now.

I am sure he would prefer assholes who follow him around during conventions so as to draw a picture of him that is of less then average quality.

I hope you take your head out of your ass and realise that not all anonymous assholes are/were bad.

I miss the good old days when people wouldn't start topics every time Yahtzee opened his fucking mouth.

You got something better to talk about on a Yahtzee forum?

Whatever, man.

I'm thinking this forum is less for worshipping him and more for discussing games, his or otherrwise, and just things in general.

Not to say that he probably doesn't ENJOY the worship. At least if he joined a discussion on these forums it wouldn't derail into an OMGITZYAHTZEE thing, since theses are his forums anyway.

That'd hold more water if we did much discussing of anything on these boards. And, well, if they were called "Games and Things in General" forums and not "Fullyramblomatic" forums.

I have lots of places on the internet to vent about games. I don't need to do it here too.
