Sarcasmic.

I have just made the word "sarcastic" totally and completely obsolete. Fear me, if you dare.
When in doubt, plead sarcasm.

Relationships take a lot of work.

So does shaving a cat.

And learning nuclear physics.

At the same time.

When you lose your calm, you feed your anger.

Arien: I-90 for the win oooohhh yeeeeaaaa-uuuhhh!

Nah, seriously, what part of NYS do you live in? I'm near exit 33 in Thruway terms. Right in the middle of the state.

PRT: Why do they shorten through to thru in many contemporary English compound words?

Boo I - 90, go I -87, sooo much better.

You didn't ask me, but I'll answer with floating between exit 14 and 37 currently

One of life's greatest mysteries.

Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

Actually amend that. Make it 14th only and I've just been reminded that I have people coming over this Thursday.

PRT:

I found two female ants that just mated and shed their wings. I put them in a case full of moist sand and now they've laid eggs and are starting a colony. I just wanted to see if it would work. Yeah, it does. The species: Red Imported Fire Ants! And because I have two of them, it's going to form a supercolony... I don't know how I'm going to take care of this when the population is over a thousand. For all you Starcraft fans, think Zerg Rush here. ohmy.gif laugh.gif

Maybe I can get a 10 gallon glass tank, fill that with moist sand and transfer them over to it, line the top with petroleum jelly (vasoline) so they can't infest my home, and let them grow that way...

On the flip-side, taking care of monarch caterpillars and watching them turn into butterflies is quite enjoyable. Letting them go is the fun part.

pointless random thoughts, one of the more popular chefelf threads..and with that, i have a few thoughts id like to get off my chest...

if the mona lisa painting was done by da vinci, an italian artist, whats that masterpiece doing in france, in the louvre?..are the italians just generous people??

want to know what the biggest pet peeve is in the world?..going to use the restroom at certain public restrooms where they have the super-huge roll of toilet paper that is specially designed (with apparent frustration in mind), to be quite difficult to rotate..and only allows you to tear off a single sheet at a time..and in order to tear off another sheet, you have to manually reach your hand inside the metallic or plastic device holding the roll in place, and then rotate it by hand...arrrrgghhh

why is it almost everytime i go to walmart, circuit city, best buy (or insert the name of your favorite electronics retailer), and when i see their video game displays...sometimes the tv will be on a frozen screen, or the controller will be badly destroyed..with loose analog controls, buttons that are missing or loose,..the overall controller has a greasy oily feel to it....why?...do the people who do this to these game consoles, also do this to their own consoles at home?..if so, it could explain why the video game industry is a multi-million dollar industry.

when i go thru the drive thru of any fast food restaurant..sometimes there will be the individual ahead of me, that flat-out grocery shops...they order pretty much everything on the menu board...they should just tell the worker "what they dont want", to make their order smoother. common courtesy would say that if anyone is ordering so much food in a single drive-thru transaction that it holds up the rest of the drive thru line more than 10 or 15 minutes, that they should simply dine in instead.....but no, this is america..and were the laziest bunch of peeps around...and they will be damned should they have to get out of their car and park for anything...let alone, fast food indulgence.

...and on a last note...one of my fave beloved toys from the 1980's.."transformers"...they were sheer bliss in their hey-dey...every toy rocked. so why are they (HASBRO)..trying relentlessly at coming out with new lines, like the crappy animated ones from this new show ive apparently never seen....dammit, just bring back the good old ones from the 1980's..you know, the ones that are made of higher quality and are going for at least a 400% mark-up on ebay. if takara truly destroyed all the old molds..just make new ones..cant be that hard. id be a broke man, if takara/hasbro ever reintroduced the classic from generation one. thats an understatement too.

im done...for now, anyways

Yes, kids do this to their own stuff but not as severe and not as fast. In a store you've got a lot of people destroying things all day. In a home of 2 or more, the console and controller get their share of abuse, especially when children eat around the console. It's sick. I've seen it done. It doesn't happen at my house.

I personally hate this one, especially the tourists that don't know what anything is at Taco Bell. It's worse when they're all high on something too... oh and caneceling an entire order only to replace it all at the window with items that don't even exist on the menu!!! The only good that comes from it is all the food that they didn't want was prepared and so the employees will hand it out for free.

I met someone at my college who looks exactly like you, Chyld. Exactly. He reminds me of you and everything. It's honestly bizzare.

Is this look-a-like in the US and does he own an Opeth shirt? Because if not, I found one too.
