I seem to have agreed to help my roommate's friend with a paper she has to write (something nobody's asked me to do since my first semester). The problem is, I have no idea just what the hell I'm supposed to help with. It's all been pretty vague on that issue...

well,.ive officially had my netflix account for one year now..and i was on the 2 at a time plan for about 6 months,.but due to me working overtime, i downgraded to the 1 at a time unlimited plan, and have been on that for the other 6 months.
my history shows that, in all, ive watched 60 movies over the course of one year...averaging 5 per month...not bad, considering im on one of the lower plans they offer
i must say, its nice not having to worry about due dates, standing in the checkout line, spending countless minutes inside the store trying to find a movie i want to see, only to find out that either that particular location doesnt carry it,..or some bastard already rented out the last copy.
yes, all my rental headaches have been alleviated thanks to online renting
not to mention all the gasoline ive saved over the course of a year,.thats probably equal to a full tank by my guesstimation.

I'm loving how I'm on my user preferences or whatever, and for some reasno all the Google ads are about "Oh noes, taking God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?" and "How well do you know God? Take this test to find out!" In fact, I'm gonna take that test. Curiosity for teh win!

PRT: It just figures that the first episode of Torchwood my parents saw was the ALIEN SEX GAS/ORGASM-Y DEATH episode...I mean Jesus, that puts me in an awkward spot.

Kind of hard for me, an understood ice-woman (though recently somewhat thawed at the edges) and my parent's only baby girl, to explain the whole Torchwood-sex-thing to my fifty-one and fifty-eight-year old, somewhat conservative Southern parents.

I saw my first episode (well, half episode) of Torchwood yesterday, and I've got to say, I didn't understand a whole lot of the plot. Something about a pterodactyl thing and a half-cyberman thing and a pizza girl with her brain removed.
