No, Emu's a lovely person. Leave her alone.
PRT: I was using the term RPG the other day, and I was wondering if it should follow an 'a' or an 'an'. That is, should I say "a RPG" or "an RPG"? RPG starts with a consonant, so the rules would say I should use 'a', but RPG is an acronym and when used in acronym form it's pronounced "Arepeegee" which starts with a vowel, hence making 'an' a preferable option. I guess it's a case of do we follow the letter of the law, all consonants use 'a', or the spirit of the law, all vowel sounds use 'an'?

@Bond: Just incase you don’t get the joke, Emu’s title is “the internets”.
"I just played an RPG" sounds better then "I just played a RPG".
Putting “an” before RPG is slang.

It flows nicely off of the tongue. That's all that matters.

I'm pretty sure Bond spends enough of his time here to realise that Cobnat, even if Emu is the poster child for quality over quantity posting.
My, that comment was rather more caustic then I had anticipated it being

Recently, I noticed that EVERY time I have seen God actually portrayed in a movie, television show, or commercial, he has been black. This stereotype was present in Bruce/Evan Almighty, The Sarah Silverman Program, and even a Verizon commercial in which a man mistakes a black tech support guy in a white bucket for God. Now, maybe many black men are in fact God. But a common trait becomes a stereotype when that trait is attributed universally to members of a group an unreasonably large amount of the time. In the movie.... some room number, I can't remember it- you know, the one based off a story by Stephen King- the main character talks with the manager of the hotel, and the manager- a black man with grey hair- tries to warn him about the room. Later, when the main character was trapped in the "evil room", I was formulating hypotheses about what would happen, and the first thing that sprung to my mind was that the hotel manager was God. I made this judgement based almost solely on the color of his skin, because of my media conditioning. After all, I've never seen a white portrayal of God.

It's quite possible I'm the only one in the world with that experience. It just seems hilariously bizarre that by a series of coincidences, my exposure to television and movies resulted in that assumption.
This is my second instance on these forums of sounding racist, but I argue based on the precedent of Little Bunny Foofoo v. The Kind Woodland Fairy that I should get another chance.
