PRT: Stayed up literally all night last night, got home, and slept for about twelve hours. Then I got up to find I was alone in the house. It had never quite occured to me that when you wake up, you have no idea of what has happened in the time you were asleep. Usually you can figure it out from context, but in this case, I awoke in the dark ,at 6:09 according to a clock that was not kind enough to say whether this was am or pm. And my parents had left me no note, so I was severely confused as to what was going on and at one point began wondering if I had died and that was why they had left me alone in the house.

In the end, it turned out they had taped a note to the doorknob of my bedroom door. I just hadn't noticed.

Your parents don't leave you alone? That's a little odd.

Also, soft kittens are awesome.

They are indeed. As are soft cats.

And my parents do leave me alone in the house- I was just confused because I had been asleep so I thought they would have tried to inform me somehow why nobody was there.

There was one time when I was a kid, a few days before we went away on holiday, where I'd fallen asleep at the dining room table and been put into bed. Waking up at about midnight, I thought for some reason that everyone had gone on holiday without me.

And kittens in general are awesome.

I remember once I'd had a bit too much to drink and I must have fallen asleep at my friends house. I don't know if I woke up groggily, or if I was sleepwalking. All I remember was I was standing in the middle of the room and it was dark. I knew where I was, I remembered the drinking, but I had no idea how I'd gotten to the middle of the room.

Oh to that, I learnt a good lesson from drinking excessively.
Random but fact: Well now there is a sense of deeper energy which I am trying to pinpoint. I suspect that there are forces around.

PRT: I've found the cutest, catchiest goddamned thing today. Slade and Slade's Girlfriend should get extra Awww moments from this. Geeks In Love

Edit: Have fun with that interweb break, I take a few every now and then and they are quite refreshing.

Cute, but fortunately, not all geeks are as homely as the two depicted here! (Especially our resident Slade!)
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.
