No, you don't gain a 'branched-out' status, you do it through not be an ass-tard and contributing to conversations in a positive manner. Being a well liked person isn't something that is given, it is something that is done.
Your first step might be 'branching out' of using Southpark screen grabs. Too much cartman really gets annoying, especially when you only bring out the quotes that he's only said in one episode ('whatever I want' gets damned annoying damned fast).

Actually, you don't know what you're talking about. Cartman has said it countless times during the series. He said it many times while visiting Jerry Springer, for example, and in the "My Future Self 'n Me" episode, he said it at the very end when his future self was trying to convince him to start eating healthy.
