Gawd, been away for a while and forum degenerates to this! It was tragic that Blackadder didn't win the best comedy programme in UK, though it was second.

Members of the forum may be interested to learn that der Mudda and der Fadda are relocating to the nearest place to heaven in Britain - we have bought a delightful place to semi-retire to. If Rhubarb doesn't pull her finger out and get a useful job I shall come swooping out to Brisbane to rescue my baby and bring him back where he truly belongs. On another note Yahtzee - how do you fancy Shelley F as a prospective sister in law? Dave doesn't know yet! Oh, and I've got a holistic type job also lined up - see I'm good for body and soul.

Welcome back, Mudda. If you hadn't posted soon, I was going to create a "What Happened to Everyone?" thread wherein I would lament the loss of you, LP, and Xicey. Glad to see you're doing well. Congrats on migrating to semi-paradise. happy.gif Huzzah for your job, and yay for the mysterious "Dave" character.

*hugs Mudda* wub.gif Glad you're back, though. Been worried that you'd forgotten us. Care to divulge more details on your holistic job?

Also, this isn't all it's degenerated to. smile.gif We also have been discussing paedophiles, lachie's humor, text-based adventure games, proms, and random things in response to Supes' foolishness of actually showing interest in what I think. Oh, and Chyld broke his computer. <- Extreme summarization of all the new threads.

Basically, Chyld was spam lord for a while, and then I came back, so there's plenty of spam to go around now. happy.gif

Actually, the laptops fixed now. The day after the 3000 word essay on it had to be in. Joy.

And me? Spam Lord? Never... unsure.gif

Thanks for missing me Mist. Can't really say an awful lot yet about the holistic thing. Ladies on the forum should be aware that the male species lack our inborn intuition and when they think they are in charge they are really been guided by us in the right direction. A man without a woman in his life is almost a lost soul - save a man TODAY girls it is your duty to human kind and the continuance of the species lets put the world right.

Rhubarb if you want to come join us and Ben in our perfect spot you would be welcome SO LONG as you get a job and work as a team.

Girls unite

I took a test in psychology the other day that says my personallity is 75% effeminate. This also means I have a low androgeny rating and thus, low self-esteem. sad.gif Apparantly i'm more empathic and understanding than the average male as well.

I haven't met any male who's right for me, so should I just grab some random drunk off the street?

"You. Wanna get married?" "eruh?" *squinty eyes looking at me* "Ok. Come on. We're going to go get married on Tuesday, so make sure you're sober by then." "eruh?" "..." "Mudda, will you please consent to this marriage? Fadda?"

unsure.gif

Maybe I should wait, or let you girls take care of the men. ohmy.gif

So there you go Mist, Skinny may be just the one for you. A sensitive, empathic man is worth his weight in gold, ain't that right Ben?

This forum is in danger of becoming a marriage bureau.
For the girls again, if you read up on native American culture you will find the older women of the tribes were highly regarded and were sometimes even tribal leaders. Sadly in this day and age of "yoof" culture older women are ignored, abused and disrespected - we disappear. Those who are mothers have an almost psychic intuitive connection, we have shared the same experience and no man can ever experience the raw "earthmother" emotions involved. So there you have it girls, the sad, twisted, violent man's world needs help - get on with it.

I have a copy of the Native American 10 commandments up in the kitchen as follows:

The Earth is our Mother, care for her
Honor all your relations
Open your heart and soul to the Great Spirit
All life is sacred, treat all beings with respect
Take from the Earth what is needed and nothing more
Do what needs to be done for the good of all
Give constant thanks to the Great Spirit for each new day
Speak the truth, but only of the good in others
Follow the rhythms of nature, rise and retire with the sun
Enjoy life's journey, but leave no tracks

Here endeth this lecture.

Perhaps they are getting a life. I've just tried to phone Yahtzee and Rhubarb and they aren't in, so maybe things are moving along nicely.

Fuck knows, I try and be empathetic. And I think it works. By and large, folks appreciate it...

On another note; we can't all go around getting lives! That'd ruin the close-knitness we have! laugh.gif

Supes, isn't the Complete Works book, The Whole Damn Dynasty, or is there another book that's the Complete Works? TWDD has The Complete Works on the cover, but is there another?

Spot on Mist. I could not remember the name at the time of writing and I haven't really been home the last few days to check on it.

Supes: Ok. Thanks. happy.gif Been busy, eh?

Mudda: Jane's a Yank as am I. Also, thanks for the lesson. tongue.gif

Jane: Excellent point.

We've been abandoned by Xice and LP. sad.gif Hopefully they'll come back once they've gotten their lives going a bit. Can't wait to hear the news from Xice once he returns, and I miss LP. sad.gif
