Has anyone identified the song in the new intro?

How come no one's worried about the copyright on THAT song?

unless I've missed something, that song was created specificalyl for ZP...

I assumed the Escapist had made it for him or something.

Surely at least one of Yahtzee's legions of fanboys owns an electric guitar and would be more then willing to riff for a few seconds for his hero.

The new update seems to imply that the song was made to be like the ZP theme song. So my guess is, no more copy right infringement.

Unless Yahtzee uses his own song without his permission. Then he might get sued by himself.

... The mental imagery of suing oneself hurts my poor, poor little brain. Anyway, good review (as it usually is). I have to agree it looks a lot more professional and polished now. It seems... Serious now, like it has official backing rather than being something the Escapist simply nabbed.

I don't consider the series to have "jumped the shark" (and am even more unsure what "nuke the fridge" refers to, although I can safely say that I wish no harm upon the friendly cooler of beloved foods). It's a fresh lick of paint. It's a fine-tuning, and although I'm sad to see the musical intro's/outro's on their arse by the front curb, I can't complain really. It's not the musical direction I expected, but surprises are a fifty-fifty gamble.

Oh, and does anyone mind deciphering the end review into manageable chunks for my inferior intellect to understand, or is it something I'd be able to percieve if I actually got round to watching the film?

The film review was I assume his reactions to different aspects of the movie in sweetened condensed order.

Spot on.

Well I can't think of anyway to say to describe the spoiler in a useful way without giving away the spoiler, so...

So if you care about spoilers for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Pulp Fiction, Wall-E, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,or the video game Queen: The Eye, then don't read the origin of "nuked the fridge":

"Nuked the Fridge" is an Indy 4 reference.

Also, Yahtzee, if you don't want to count Indy 4 as an Indy movie, why do you count 2? It was worse.

EDIT: Clarity.

EDIT2: I abolished and did away with redundancy. (I think I said that one already)

Respectfully disagree.

And I can't believe the obvious music suggestion was missed -- "Mr. Jones and Me" by the Counting Crows?

Agreed, but as we can tell from the "No More Heroes" review, obvious music choices aren't great.

And I hate to be a pedantic newcomer, but 'tis just "Mr. Jones". They were awesome in Belgium a few days ago.

... I merely reiterated in my title what Yahtzee mentioned at the end of his review:

QUOTE (Yahtzee)
"Now this is looking more professional, isn't it, although I'm certain some of you pricks are already putting this down as my shark jumping moment"

Not that I agree that it IS his shark jumping moment. I guess I put it in there to see if anyone else caught it.

As for "Nuking the Fridge," I read an article saying that to 'Nuke the Fridge' was replacing 'Jump the Shark' in the vocabulary for some, especially Indiana Jones fans.

On a different note:

QUOTE (Yahtzee)
"The new intro might be a bit PEPSI MAX for you but frankly I like it. It gets me pumped."

Heh. Nothing can be too Pepsi Max for me. I love that shit. I'm drinking one right now (10:05AM local time).

Good stuff, I found this one quite funny.
The end review of the movie was quite excellent as well.

Speaking in the third person is awesome.

What are we talking about? All I can see is phrases and random sentences being tossed around.

If you have yet to notice, I am more than happy to help. We are talking(or typing) about Yahtzee's review of LEGO Indy Jones. He has a new theme at the beginning of his review videos now, to be more professional. Good Day.

Oooooh. Butthurt.

You see, the thing that heats up the platina discs in their heads is the fact you're quoting yourself in your own posts, which does indeed make you look like a bit of a narcissistic douche. They know perfectly well what the topic of the discussion is, they just had some comments on the way you added your two cents. A Pleasant Day To You Too, And Welcome To The Forums.
