I returned.

Again.

My power supply caught fire within my laptop.

And when it came back from Alienware the hard drive was wiped.

But I'm back, and it's all good.

EDIT: 'from Alienware'

Hello Cobbs.

Am I the only one that hears the theme song from Welcome Back, Kotter when I see this thread?

The prodigal son returns. How is everyone? Joyfully oblivious I hope.

I completely forgot this place existed.
"I felt insulted until I realized that the people trying to mock me were the same intellectual titans who claimed that people would be thrown out of skyscrapers and feudalism would be re-institutionalized if service cartels don't keep getting political favors and regulations are cut down to only a few thousand pages worth, that being able to take a walk in the park is worth driving your nation's economy into the ground, that sexual orientation is a choice that can be changed at a whim, that problems caused by having institutions can be solved by introducing more institutions or strengthening the existing ones that are causing the problems, and many more profound pearls of wisdom. I no longer feel insulted because I now feel grateful for being alive and witnessing such deep conclusions from my fellows."

Yeah generally people don't care about users who joined two years ago, bickered with other users over something stupid, tossed around a few insults, and then left for a while.

Did I not return? Should I have not announced my return here?

Yeah, you should have, but Hecc wasn't talking to you. He was explaining to Slade why he didn't know who you were. He was not trying to disuade you from returning. At least, that's what I got from it.
