Yeah, you might have noticed I was away for a fornight. Where was I? Finding religion? Finding myself? Finding love? On holiday by the sea in France? Only one of the above was false, and I bet you can guess which one now...

QUOTE (Jane Sherwood @ Jul 22 2006, 06:43 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Regenerating pie-spawned faces doesn't count. Besides, we have no idea where they are. For all we know they could be lurking in the deepest, darkest, unexplored wilds of England!
...Or making a living tormenting homeless drug-addicts.
...Or maybe just living in Chyld's basement scaring the cat.
...If he even has a basement.

I damn wish I had a basement! I mean, we've got a dirty great hill underneath our house, and the designer didn't think a nice alcove to store books/wine/bongsmoke would be useful? Bloody cheek.

And presently, the Chyldlings are milling around in Essex. Don't ask, just accept.
When you lose your calm, you feed your anger.

I'm back, too! Hooray! And I brought souvenirs... Some wonderful fudge, seashells, and a lovely lovely sunburn. pinch.gif

Hehe. The seashells are colourful, and if you consider "lobster red" to be colourful, than yes to that as well, and the fudge is just pretty much brown, so no on that one. As far as bandwagons go, I can't say I've ever seen one... But something else around here needs to be colourful, so I'm going to say yes! Bandwagons are colourful. Purple with green polkadots, to be exact...

Sorta back, working more than 40 hours a week just takes most of it out of me. Well that and lots of sword fighting. Friends of mine and I all happen to own certain quantities of bamboo shinai, a.k.a kendo swords. We do the same sorts of stuff, except with a mixture of styles and almost no kind of protection. We try not to aim for the head or the groin, but ... well let's just say shit happens. I actually took one to the groin and two to the face earlier tonight. My left hand is still recovering from a nasty blow on Wednesday. Should be all better by tommorrow (lucky my knuckle wasn't broken). Not complaining, it's loads of fun. We really need to start some kind of armour fund though.

I also bought a throwing knife and throwing axe. The trees in the yard have a new enemy. That is until I build some kind of target thingy.

Anyways, I'll probably just lurk for awihle. Then I'll have to post here ... again.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

... any one getting the feeling that it might be a wise choice to declare Mr. Zatoichi the nicest guy ever?

Don't worry Gobbler, it'll be awhile until he manages to get a throwing range that can span oceans.

Of course, I could always cross the ocean first. On a boat of course, because God knowns I wouldn't be able to take the weapons on a plane. And they wouldn't even be carry on luggage. Note to self, at some point in life, get a plane.

Went at it again tonight. The same hand suffered a multitude of blows. One-handed typing sucks.
Lots of fun. Doing a team battle in the near dark was definately interesting.
