Original Trilby (Spoilers for 6 Days) Where is he?

So, we know from 6 Days that Trilby was cloned a lot, presumably from the blood on the knife. But I don't think we ever learned what happened to the original Trilby. Did he die peacefully of old age? Did he find love? Did he go on more adventures? Speculate!

I imagine he went on more adventures, never having time for love, and died peacefully of old age.

Or... not. Since he was professional and business like he was probably just working for the ministry of occult in very boring cases like the ones we were shown. Or was killed in a rather impressive battle scene where just as it looks like he's won the building collapses in a mildly ironic ending that we have seen in Yahtzee's two stories.

He was caught and cryogenically frozen by the cultists until they learned how to clone correctly. duh.

I mean, they still had his soul, or essence or whatever, so he had to be alive when the first clone was made or his soul would've escaped to the afterlife, right?

Trilby's aloofness was due to a large brain tumor. All of the Chzo mythos is merely a delusion Trilby has in his later years as he dies slowly in a hospital bed.

No one comes to his funeral.
