I myself am a huge fan of these effects and find these SCENES OF VIOLENCE AND GORE attractive with MANY PEOPLE DYING. And that, is my measure of a good videogame.

*after a few moments of silence, the audience force themselves to clap and cheer lightly*

Heh, I was there. I *didn't* make any noise though, because, you know, that would be rude. There were about 20 people standing around, maybe 5 or 6 made noise (yelling, singing) which was unfortunate. The organisers did however do a good job of eventually quieting them down.

Pretty much emphasizing that there were decent people there and the fact I was annoyed with the people who were yelling. I'm not trying to 'look ok' I just thought it'd be something I could comment on since I was there :S.

Good point. Sometimes it's difficult to understand the meaning of a person over the internet, which causes a lot of problems.

Maybe we do care. Maybe it's just that we send him an e-mail instead of posting on the forum, because 1. there's more chance he reads that and 2. to me it seems somewhat less impersonal than going "CAKEZ!!!!!111" in a forum topic.
