We have cyber-cookies often on the #fullyramblomatic channel on Quakenet IRC...

Damn. Now I'm hungry too.

If I had the AUD of a thousand pounds I'd have a little over $850. I'd give some to a charity and put the rest towards a new fancy-buttoned keyboard that can produce the sound of an accoustic pianoforte. And a pack of Walker's shortbread and some Baileys. Or A nice weekend away with my someone special.

*sigh* $850 would be eaten up by the cost of moving house or paying the bond before I'd even get to think that up. dry.gif

What currency is this, if you don't mind me asking.

It's AUstralian Dollars. I couldn't be bothered looking up the actual conversion rate.

Silly me. I should know that being in australia.

Also, shouldn't you have a larger number, since the AUD is weaker then the pound?

Few years earlier:
"...and so, young Yahtzee packs his bags full of British pounds and sets off on a journey to become rich and famous since Australian dollars is more like tissues."

Appolagies to all Australians every where.

OK, so, one thousand, nine hundred, fifty-five dollars, and fifty five cents, Canadian.

Let's see... A new HDTV, an XBox 360, and a copy of GTA IV so I could play it properly.

It's fine! Our dollar was like tissues a few years ago. Now it's more like super-duper Viva paper toweling!

Yeah but people still use it for toilet paper.
"I felt insulted until I realized that the people trying to mock me were the same intellectual titans who claimed that people would be thrown out of skyscrapers and feudalism would be re-institutionalized if service cartels don't keep getting political favors and regulations are cut down to only a few thousand pages worth, that being able to take a walk in the park is worth driving your nation's economy into the ground, that sexual orientation is a choice that can be changed at a whim, that problems caused by having institutions can be solved by introducing more institutions or strengthening the existing ones that are causing the problems, and many more profound pearls of wisdom. I no longer feel insulted because I now feel grateful for being alive and witnessing such deep conclusions from my fellows."

If I had £1000 I'd move out.

Or buy £1000 of beer, games and little men, whatever.
