Shnooper-loopy?

Oh Made-Up Words. You make this world a better place. Especially when uttered by a guy whose constantly terse, irritable voice could not be LESS of a match for their whimsical silliness. Dig the contradiction, yo!

For the Americans who don't know the rich vein of cultural history behind the term Snooker Loopy, I direct you thusly: Chas And Dave

Just because it wasn't made up by Yahtzee doesn't mean it wasn't made up.

And owch. My brain.
It's not stalking! It's artistic reference!

Technically, every world was made up.

I spend most of my time incredibly bored and mostly enjoy sitting at my desk typing away long rambling sentences, much like this one, whenever I feel I've spent too much time on a particular game. As such, I intend on cracking my way into the gaming media, somehow.

If you want to get technical every word was coined... or stolen, borrowed, merged, compounded etc etc, I lost my English Language notes about a year ago.

...and another word I spent the last year forgetting! Speaking of which, I still haven't looked up the Etymological Dictionary my English Language teacher told me to... and I'm amazed I spelt Etymological right on my first attempt, without a spellchecker!

I haven't heard about these games till I saw the review, but I downloaded the first one yesterday, and the atmosphere is really creepy indeed, although the combat is somewhat frustrating (hell, maybe I just need to practice) and the forensics part is really very patronising. All in all, I like it so far.

Some enemies can take hits and some can't, you can't always land awesome combos, but you usually want you want to do is hit them with hooks, then backup. Sometimes they can get you but if you back up far enough they can miss and you can go in with another hit. I loved combat in this game, it's much more this time around.

Completed it just now. Whew. The last chapter was challenging. The fights were really difficult, I just couldn't work out how the blocking system worked, since the enemies seemed to just bypass my defence most of the time... I usually opted for the kick-in-the-rear, taze, then hack-off-face-with-axe combination, but in the last chapter I lost the tazer for some reason, which buggered up this strategy and no mistake. I liked the ending too, although I think the bathroom scene should be different if you had chosen to leave the sick fuck alive (that is, you don't succumb to your hatred, I think the symbolism was pretty clear in this game).

There is no way all the people looping the ZP review and firing off e-mail after e-mail are going to see this.

Once such things are started, they cannot be stopped.

You've got to love that, though. Yahtzee is forever telling people to send him emails, then getting upset when people send him emails.

The Specials and Ian Dury this week, Stranglers last week. My guess for next week is Elvis Costello and the Attractions and The (English) Beat.

You don't block, you parry. You can't block unless you block right before the enemy hits you. Isn't too terribly difficult to figure out.

The ending of Condemned 1 sets up Condemned 2, Ethan Thomas is still going batshit. He's started down his road to alcoholism(going in for a spew).

They should make a prequel, you would think alot would've happened between the bathroom at the end from 1, and that bar with no job or haircut in two
