Oh sweet Christ. Ladies and gentlemen, the PT nightmare is still alive and kicking. Jabba the Hutt's son??!! How many more OT characters can Lucas cram into this mess? Would it kill him to create a decent original character that isn't just a piece of alien eye-candy?

Wow if anything that was disappointing
Why does everyone look like a crack addict blockhead?
Sunken eyes, jutting bone structure and long faces
as far as the eye could see

Forget Jabba's son,
one problem and major default at a time
the animation looks terrible.
They all look like totem poles

I wish they had just stuck to regular animation.
Remember the good ol' days of cartoons?
This looks too much like a video game
which if it were would look pretty cool

but its not ... so shame on them

Yes, but think of the Action Figure Sales. MONEY MONEY MONEY! If you go to force.net the fanboys are slathering to get their hands on these things.

The sad thing is after the prequel trainwreck is that GL has learned *NOTHING*.

Most of us will meet complete and utter failure at some point of our lives. The thing is to learn. But for GL complete and utter failure still brought in trainloads of cash: he "laughs" that the most succesful of all the films in terms of PROFIT was TPM. So even when GL fails, he wins. The guy is in an amazing position. He can turn out crap after crap and he'll still make a profit. Read a writer's blog recently where he said sequels/prequels are guaranteed to make 59% of something of the original, REGARDLESS of their quality. GL is KING of the sequel/prequel.

He doesn't need to be good to stay rich.

I'm sure the drool is ankle-deep over there. The level of crap that the "real Star Wars fans" at TFN will accept has always amazed me. Lucas could have made a show about a Jawa with a peg-leg running a pizza parlor out of his garage and those fanboys would still be jumping for joy.

The trailer has now been officially released, with much fanfare:

http://www.starwars.com/

More clones! More explosions! More lightsabers! More garbled speeches from Yoda! More pointless aliens! More wacky vehicles! More gadgets! More blatant references to the OT! More R2 and 3PO antics! Now in 100% CGI! Less plot guaranteed, or your money back!

THIS IS STAR WARS AS YOU'VE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE!!!!

I actually saw the trailer in the theatre
when i went to see Speed Racer
It was kinda sad

my heart didn't skip a beat like it used to
dare i say that i was more excited for the PT
than this movie about saving Jabba's son

How would one go about kidnapping a Hut?
"I felt insulted until I realized that the people trying to mock me were the same intellectual titans who claimed that people would be thrown out of skyscrapers and feudalism would be re-institutionalized if service cartels don't keep getting political favors and regulations are cut down to only a few thousand pages worth, that being able to take a walk in the park is worth driving your nation's economy into the ground, that sexual orientation is a choice that can be changed at a whim, that problems caused by having institutions can be solved by introducing more institutions or strengthening the existing ones that are causing the problems, and many more profound pearls of wisdom. I no longer feel insulted because I now feel grateful for being alive and witnessing such deep conclusions from my fellows."
-Jimmy McTavern, 1938.

I imagine a scantily clothed Twilek woman holding a ten foot tall birthday cake-pizza mixture inside a giant cage propped open by a large stick. Someone pulls a lever once the Hutt is inside and boom, the cage falls down on top of him and he's stuck. Then you use the elephant tranquilizers to retrieve him safely, of course, followed by hiding him somewhere and demanding ransom.

Its completely possible
that his son is still a child
a 3 tonne blob of a child but

knowing Lucas his previsual thinking
didn't even go that far. . .

The sad thing is that its the honest truth. Rabid fanboys ceased expecting more of Lucas
and this series to the point that they will literally accept anything as long as there is a Star
Wars logo on it. Its actually pathetic now.

Mace Windu: "We need to make contact with General Kenobi"
Hmm, John Williams score, classic Star Wars scenery, ok, still curious...

Yoda: "Kidnapped, Jabba the Hutts son has been."
This is when I projectile-vomit all over the screen

Jabba the Hutts son? Are they f**king kidding??! This sucks on so many levels. I used to go to this forum and vent back in the prequel days but it seems the fat-necked one still has a few insults up his sleeve. Another steaming turd it is then. I can't wait for the live-action TV series...

haha....why do people bother reviewing Star Wars trailers if they've prematurely made their minds up that they are going to hate the shit regardless? It's a rhetorical question, folks. Just thinking out loud.

In what twisted state of affairs does Yoda become concearned or entangle with the event of Jabba junior's kidnapping?
