The great thing about this article is that it's like my Rice/Serbia article which relied on familiarity with two distinct events, namely 300 and the Serbian embassy assaults. Unlike my Rice serbia article however this one requires familiarity with 2 books you probably havent read: For Whom The Bell Tolls and The Bridges of Madison County, without knowledge of which it'll be utterly meaningless. Awesome power!
