So I had the surgeon consult to review my MRI. And they found....a herniated disc! He said he didn't want to cut into me because I am so young, and referred me to a pain management guy for nerveblocker/cortizone shot stuff. But here's the wonderful part. The soonest they can get me in is the 24th! Yes! Really! I just have to suffer until then, and it hurts so bad I can barely walk, my pills aren't strong enough to help, i'm crying all the damn time. It sucks. I'm not cut out for this. I've even endured tattoos since I was last on this board. This pain is like nothing I have EVER felt before. And to top it off, I have spent this week doing Pilates, hoping that would help with some of my back issues, because I thought all this time the pain was a result of my scoliosis. By doing that, I probably worsened the condition with the torn disc.

If there is a God up there, he certainly hates me. Which is ironic, because my grandma recently almost died, and the guy I am seeing at the time talked me into exploring religion again, and even PRAYING from time to time. I'm not too happy right now.

I'm sorry to hear about your state. There's no way of getting medical attention sooner?

I hope you feel better. What will be the effects of the procedure?

So, they won't operate but they will pump you full of pain killers? That hardly sounds like a long term solution. I hope you can endure until the 24th.

I have had to drop yet another college class due to this. I am now just doing one class to hold on to my scholarship. My father was able to track down another pain management person, so I get to see him tuesday. Thank god. We'll see if a nerve blocker works, if not, I'll probably have laser surgery done at Microspine.

I feel for you...

And I mean that literally... My back is in agony at them moment. Combination of extremly concave spine, obesity, bad sleeping habbits, etc. I can walk for 30 minutes then I can barely stand.

getting an ab machine to try and bend my back slowly the other way...

good luck.

My back hurts too. Food poisoning. I ache all over, and it will be a long time before I eat an eggroll again.

Pfft. Eggrolls. SPRING rolls are where it's at. Though I don't suppose that really does you any good at this point.

Whenever I have to stand for more than an hour at a gig or something my back and knees really start to hurt. I saw we are scientists last night and by the end I actually had difficulty getting back to the car. It never seems to affect my friends that badly so I'm beginning to wonder if I have some problem I should get checked out.

So this baby, while still inside its mother, murdered his twin brother and STOLE HIS PENIS.

That is one badass baby.
